No, chains go into beams, hang down and then we use hooks with string to board, to raise and lower easily.

That does seem very cheap, built in drivers, perhaps they are the very cheap part.

Two single 120w boards will do the job. Better coverage than a twin 240w

I have the R2T 512 boards. They are like the Mark 1 version.
One of the first fuller spectrum lights on offer I think.
Not top name leds on the board apart from the Samsung LM561C whites back then but I'm happy with them.
Been using them for nearly 2 years now with no issues.
They grow dank weed.
I've mostly used them for flowering but recently moved them into a late veg early flowering area.
I usually double up on the diodes when it comes to lighting and run them softly.

i have no way of testing a single light in this production room. its automated on a wifi controller that wont work with an oddball led light. I am currently rebuilding the room now and it would make it easier at this point to switch to LED if i can.

So 30w/sqft LED will equal the same yield/quality as 48w/sqft DE HPS? right now this room produces 35-40lbs of flower with 16x 1kw HPS @ 1150w each so 18,400w for the entire room. Ive read that 30w/ sqft is low even for LED. and i would need closer to 40w/sqft if i wanted to see the same yields as my DE hps.




you may be right... im thinking full board of 90cri lm301b diodes no added 660 or uv diodes.
