Why? What merits do these particular seeds have that justify the price? I feel like there is an element of "insta-mania", with some of these high dollar seeds. What were the packs going for, before growers won cups? Plenty of other seeds out there with winning OG lineage.
I bet the big seed vendors metrics/data would show the sweet spot for sales is around the $70 mark, and below. Rollitup has long running threads on a few.

Those would be considered worth it because it's the original wedding cake back crossed with the original triangle that made the cake (I'm assuming). I would just get the jungle boys version for like 200 though

$57 a seed? Not worth it to me. I wouldn't pay $10 a seed and never have. Plenty of other great cannabis available without getting bent over and given a rectal exam. I keep hearing about all these "Fire" strains that people are selling a kidney to get. I have friends that stop by with their latest "Fire" from the dispensaries. They usually prefer my crosses over their Banana Split Cookie Cake Pudding Pie strain.
This isn't rocket science.

It blows my mind to see what some people pay for some seeds. I've payed $10/seed, but only because I haven't tried many seed banks out yet, and I usually wait for sales so I can get them for around $5/seed.
