Just picked up some Roots Organic Original soil along with the uprising lineup grow and bloom. Anyone have pointers with these or a feeding schedule they have found to work well for them?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.

I have roots organic terp tea grow and bloom. But I use promix hp. I blend the amendment with my soil during veg. Then I top dress with the bloom during flower. I usually top dress twice if I don’t switch pots during flower, otherwise I amend the soil once, and do a final top dress 3-4 weeks before harvest. Only water with ph’d water between 6.5-7.

By this do you mean that when first mixing the soil before planting you put a little grow in and only top dress the bloom during flower?

I should have added im growing autoflowers as well but I may just feed a little lighter for that aspect. Thanks a ton for the response.

Yes, assuming you planted straight into soil from seed. I usually transplant a total of 3 times, from starter pot, to 1 gal, to final 3 gal pot. In starter pot I don’t amend just soil, 1 gal pot I do amend with veg amendment. Then with final pot I amend again but this time with bloom, and 1 final top dress 3-4 weeks from harvest. This is my auto flower schedule, photo schedule I would have top dressed with the veg amendment once, then the same schedule as the auto during flower. Only difference is I wouldn’t use a 3 gallon pot for a photo, more like a five.

Ive got the seeds soaking currently. Tomorrow ill throw them in a moist paper towel for a day to pop roots then I will be planting them. I think i may plant in a cup full of coco before it hits the soil and nutes mixed in to give it time to grow a tiny bit first. Good to know thanks a ton for the info and help leading me in the right direction.

Right on! Appreciate that. Ive had some decent luck with Ocean Forest and Mephisto genetics although i feel like yields on some of my plants could have been much better. Also hoping to work my way to denser buds. Yours look fantastic!

Only autos currently. I do expect a bit less than a photo but im shooting for around 50g a plant which just isnt happening currently. Granted I do have one monster I think will make it with ease. But on the other end Ive had more than Id like to admit yeild 10g or less and that just isnt cutting it haha.

I have been using roots organics uprising line along with their Greenfield soil mix. With the uprising grow dry nutes, I will usually amend the soil slightly. And a 50/50 mix o uprising grow n bloom and a snort or two of the foundation mix during the pre flower stretch. I do (per gallon of soil) 1 teaspoon of straight bloom and 1 of the foundation at week 3 then at week 6 top dressed. With mollasas n microbes in between. I have found organics style growing and topdress is way easier and more efficient then fuckin around with ten bottles of snake bite juice. :eyesmoke:

Very good to know! Do you not feed at all until around week 3 when you amend nutes? Or do you add before that? Based off the website it seems around week 2 to add and week 4 add more grow. Sounds like you work similar to their chart with some minor differences if im understanding correctly! I didnt purchase the foundation assuming I can feed with liquid calmag/mollases if needed.

Thanks a ton for the response

I’m not familiar with uprising, I use roots organic terp tea “ grow “ and “ blow “. Can be used as an amendment or tea, I prefer the amendment route. I mix 1 tsp of grow per gallon of soil during veg. Then I transplant into the final pot and amend again but this time with the bloom. About 3-4 weeks before harvest I top dress. Every 2-4 weeks I water with seaweed powder. Strong stuff, 1-0-17! At least once a week I feed molasses too. Every watering gets calmag. I use tap water so I don’t really need it, but I use it anyway just in case.

Mephisto is known for small yields... Quality, but small. Im finding autos in general produce a fluffier bud. My last organic auto grow. I use half roots organic original and half super soil and i top dress at the start and middle of flower. These are all fast buds. Their Gelato is to die for. Smoothie is great. Everything else is meeeh. IMG_4158.JPG

Autos should be placed in final container when you drop them. I use 5 gallon this grow but have used 3 gallon with success.

I definitely yielded more in 5 gallon but I also upgraded my light so hard to say whats what. Either way watering every 4 days instead of every 2 was a welcome change.

RO Greenfield is pretty loaded to begin with. I don't add any grow top dress for about 4 weeks or so. Depends how long I veg though. And I don't see why ya couldn't use the liquid cal/mag and mollasas it should work out fine for ya. Good luck
