Great Lakes Genetics ?

I figure putting out an exact time well in advance is an invitation for a website crash. It's kinda good. If you REALLY REALLY want something you can commit to constant monitoring and stand a chance to get at the front of the line before the masses come crashing in.

6/6 cracked Funky Dragon in the dirt in red Solos! Lots of good genetics (Girl Scouts and Wookie and Black Triangle and that Hawian Sativa with 88G13 Hashplant). Tiny dark grey seeds just so you know.

I only recently had GLG come fully onto my radar. I placed an initial order of a couple items. When it arrived I saw the seed count was off on one of the freebies. I contacted GLG and the issue was a typo, which has since been corrected. No big deal. I'm not even close to being ready to use them. But based on my 1st order and the response I got I have placed 3 more orders, none of which have arrived. Am I worried, not really. I'm used to dealing with overseas vendors. Every business has issues now and then. What sets one apart from others is how those issues are dealt with. Keep up the good work GLG.

Hell, at this point I view a GLG order like ordering from amazon w/o prime. It takes time for my payment to get there, and it takes time for the order to come back to me. But I KNOW that my order will come and if there are any issues, @Bad Dawg will make it right. I have nothing but love for GLG and their crew, and will always recommend them for hassle-free purchases to anyone looking for great genetics.

How can I have something in my basket but then moments later it is gone and sold out? Surely once I put something in my basket it is no longer 'on the shelf' for somebody else to take? I've read quite a few other people who this happened to with that sunshine kush.

Ummm, maybe more like ordering from another country. They have had my order, and money for 2 weeks now. No response to my polite inquiries. A shipping label was created days ago, along with a letter saying it's been sent....but it has not been sent, according to tracking info they provided on Tuesday.

This would all be fine if they didn't advertise "Most orders shipped in 3 days". There is a disclaimer that says something to the effect it may take longer. But 10 business days? Must be they have more business than they know what to do with....Yet the ads keep going up for more "specials".

I really needed seeds, as a powdery mildew incident wiped me out!

So instead of screwing around and losing any more time, I ordered seeds yesterday from Well Grown Seeds. The same genetics. They shipped yesterday. Yes, the same day. They take credit cards. It apparently IS the Amazon of fine seeds. No the selection isn't huge, but communication was great, and the service even greater. I know where I will and won't be buying from in the future.

I truly am sympathetic to their problems, but this is no way to treat customers, IMHO.

Let me elaborate; you basically ordered during Christmas. There was a BOGO event (Bodhi) and they received new genetics, had a restock, and then had ANOTHER sale and new drops. 2 - 3 weeks for beans that include a generous amount of freebies is not this absorbent amount of time and even close to what it's like ordering from a different country.

Ummm, Christmas was over 3 weeks or more when I ordered, and IDK what that has to do with a 2 week delay. And yes, I have always gotten beans from overseas in no more than 2 weeks.

I am a business owner too, and I just would never operate like this. Period. Even if there was a death in my family, the show would go on!!!

"You basically ordered during Christmas" = Not literally Christmas, "like Christmas" i.e. they are really busy with multiple BOGO events + receiving new seed offerings from Bodhi and others. Mom and Pop operation at an unusually busy time of year.

I understand your frustration, for sure, but they do come through. Sometimes it takes a while.
