Yep, my great great uncles..spud farmers in Oatlands..long passed. And my Grandmother, long passed, had a 10 acre plot outside Hobart she supplied fruit n veg to the markets, walnut trees, apricot trees, raspberries, rhubarb, beans, peas, list goes on. Don’t think I had any relos down there that didn’t grow something. Got an uncle growing grapes there now for a winery, he’s got his degree.

Had a look and I’m going to say have a look at Seedsman.com and Herbies Seeds ((although I did hear from a mate that Herbies have had difficulty recently (last couple of weeks) processing credit card payments from the US, Aust and NZ)).
On Seedsman select outdoor and then filter Sativa.
Unfortunately Mr. Nice is mainly hybrid now, although his Haze is still good.
From Seedsman you’ve got Haze, Amnesia, Malawi Gold (I used to like that one), Durban Poision (very nice smoke), and they have a Sativa tropical mix that interested me which is available in both regular and feminised. I’d go a couple of regular packs and find something nice to pollenate for future seed stock, but that’s just me.
You can also look at Attitude seeds and search their Sativa range. You should find something from the likes of Greenhouse Seeds on there for Sativa in tropical regions, I heard their Hawaiian Snow goes ok in tropical and subtropical regions, and it’s won a few awards. You can get Greenhouse seeds from Seedsman too I think..

There’s a fair bit of choice out there and I’m sure some others on here have knowledge on tropical Sativa strains.

You might want to up pot that plant soon or put it in the ground when it’s healthy enough. If you want to keep in in a pot have a look at a large fabric pot.

Can you post a photo of the leaf stuff you had going on overnight, I can’t find it now...too much car chatter in between, n it’s been a busy day.
Also is that plant also showing signs of the new tip growth necrosis?

Nah it is on a different plant an the good news on the plants i suspected had broad mights has slowed on the distorted twisted lookin new growth. The newer growth on them girls is growin out straight new leaves but its still early days but im hoping the big soakin of neem 2 nights in a row has help sort that problem. Back to the cpl plants with the yellow growth im thinking is an iron def.. Heres that pic.

Nah ive never heard the local council speak of them but it wouldn be something they would advertise around here if they did it would be more who you know around town to find out stuff like that.. And yea my thoughts after seeing the price was to make something even an old worm farm setup would do the trick as they have tank built in the bottom with tap for collectin the juice. Probs just run full worm bin set up would get the best of both worlds.

Could be iron or Sulfur. Sulfur if there’s a pinkish to red hue on the underside of the leaves. Have you checked your soil ph recently? If not I would. Both can get locked out with bad ph.

Good news on the broad mites..got to stay on top of that to break the breeding cycle, and hopefully they weren’t too far advanced to give your plants a virus. You did spray all of your plants regardless yeah?

I use greenleaf nutrients - megacrop (bought 10kg about a year and a half ago and still got 9kg ish) as my base from start to finish.

during flower i boost it with mono potassium phosphate to boost the pk levels and get the nitrogen level down a bit

I also foliar feed nts’s cmb trio through veg until week 3ish of flower. I also have some nts k-rich to foliar in late (week 5-7) flower but i haven’t really used it much because it just feels a bit wrong but I will next run

I also normally use mycogold in my coco to promote healthy roots but I need to order some more.

keen to add a few other things to my lineup like some MAP (mono ammonia phosphate) to boost p in early/mid flower, some nts products (tri kelp, fulvic acid, Brix fix, and phos force) to fill some gaps and up my foliar game. There’s a few other nts lines I’d like to run but $$.

I also probably need to work on my IPM strategy but I’m a little lazy and just treat outbreaks as I get them.

Yea drowned all the plants with it an i know it was debated that adding dish soap to neem was not necessary but i added it because i wanted to up my chances of slowing them down/wipping them out. Didn get the miticide crap from Bunnings but did plan on soakin them all with neem tonight but it rained all day here so ill get onto that tomoro night.

Ive looked all over the yellowin leaves an havent seen no pinkish or red colouration to under side of the leaf or the stem on leaf i think sulphur will also cause the stalk base of the plant to look woody aswell an theres no sign of that either. Thats why im leaning toward iron def. I only have a cheap china ph probe ive used twice an didn think much of it but yonks ago it said i had low ph level i mixed d lime in top of soil then recheckd ph week later an it read around 6.5 to 7 an ive left it at that. I will have another go with it tomorro see wat it reckons..

I don’thave any issues with it. Some think it is but plenty of guys have run it from start to finish with no issues. I’ve done multiple runs with just megacrop at its recommended dosage and no additions a few times with good results, I just getslightly better results if I adjust the levels in flower slightly to get the nitrogen down a tad.

guy buy a soil reaction test kit from
Bunnings ($10-15) those probes are useless. That could be the start of a Sulfur def. the other symptoms are more prevalent later on in the deficiency.
