Deficiency, light burns or both?

How's it guys!
ES300 * Jack's 321 *
Had a nute lockout, week 3 in flower, 1400 ppm, suspect too much cal mag, flushed to 400-600ppm. Plant pics are 3 days after flush. Haven't given it water since. Plan on giving it a watering tomorrow. I think I've read everything out there in the last couple days. I'm running out of search words. I'm pretty confused rn with whats wrong with the ladies. Is it the nute? My lights burning them up? Lights were 24 inches above the plants. Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a lot of deficiencies, def some lockout and or pH issue going on. I would try giving a balenced feeding, hopefulyt he flush got rid of most of the buildups and they're ready to uptake some food.
Whats your pH in/out? That is coco i'm guessing?

If that's week 3 you had more issues earlier on. Less is more. Give them tap water until you figure it out. Give us more info, lights, nutrients etc....

Thank you for the reply. So I ph at 6.5 in and runoff from flush comes out at 5.8. RO water, Promix soil bx. I have a feeling the lock out was from three weeks ago when I watered it with tap water and the ph meter may have been off in calibration, borrowed it from a friend. I have since that watering three weeks ago have been using RO. It may have locked out since then and just been trying to problem solve it with more nutrients (greenhorn feedings) and just unknowingly been making it worse. So I flushed four days ago and have since been waiting for the soil to dry out to water with just plain Ph water. Any recommendations on ph levels, feed or no feed? Much appreciated for any input.

I don't know much about promix or what pH it should be but that sounds low. Might want to hold off on the feed to be safe becasue nutes are generally acidic.

Yeah I figured it may have been ongoing since I transplanted them. Poor water quality from the tap and PH calibration may have been off. Damn it. I have much to learn and have learned from this first grow. I hope I can still salvage this grow. I am Feeding Jack's 321, under Electric sky es300, promix soil. RO water. Ph in 6.5. The tap water here is not consumable, only after a boil so I switched to RO.

If you have a soil pH meter you need to test the soil. I am not talking those cheap ones but a proper digital soil pH probe. A slurry test is pointless but your runoff indicates the promix has a very low pH. I suggest offsetting that pH by watering high. So if the soil tests at 5.5 and you want 6.5 water at 7.5. This has worked for me and for others in the same boat. @DoubleAtotheRON can testify to the validity of this method and why it's nice if not critical to have a soil pH meter. I test out of the bag to make sure I am on point.

Also you test the soil daily as it will gradually drift towards the 6.5 and you can gradually reduce the pH of the feed to reflect that. Plants can vary so check each one. I have seen mix that was ok out of the bag have a pH drop into the 4's after a few weeks of use, so always watch the soil pH.

Thank you will definitely be staying away from nutes for next couple waterings. I'm sure there is still left over nutes from the flush as I kept the ppm to 400-600 ppm. Big ups ubluntu!

Noted. Will definitely be procuring a soil tester. So For today's watering, I should up my water ph to 7.5 and run off of water should test out at 6.5? Thanks for the input Renfro!

For sure this. and make sure to pH tap water, not RO water otherwise it's not gunna have mcuh effect if any
I'm a bit confused with this. So with my RO water it's ph tested at 6.5, company says its 7.0 on the bottle. Not sure if my ph tester is off, should I or should I not PH my RO water?

I wouldn't be that concerned with runoff, I never test mine so I dunno (can't test mine as it's plumbed directly to the floor drain in a sealed system). Let me know what you get as I am curious. Really though the soil tester is the key. Knowing you are low it won't hurt to hit them with 7.5 pH and watch for signs of improvement. They are starving for the pH situation so a feed would be good. Next watering I would feed at 7.5 and watch the new growth for improvement.

Apera PH60S is the one I use.

Blue Lab makes one as does Hanna (have one of these as well, handy to confirm readings and as a backup, Apera is better for sure).

You should water in epsom salt at 1 tsp per gal for three waterings and add microbes to the first watering and then use microbes once a week just a little bit and dont wait till they dry out do it today. You can just add a quart of this and it isnt going to hurt the fact that you just watered them.

When you have microbes in there you really dont need to give a rats ass about ph but its nice to check and water in at 6.5 so you dont give the plant a ph shocker.

Start that now then feed on the third watering with the epsom salt then water water feed. water water feed, microbes once a week. Then get some calmag and use that once week at 2ml per gal. also.

Whats es300??

is that a led light? are you using an led light ? It looks like it to me a little raise it up a foot. Raise the light slow the grow let them heal is one of the first things a grower needs to know. You cant be trying to over drive a sick plant so from now on till chop raise it up one foot. Why is that one plant in the corner still green? Is it because it isnt directly under the led light ? Move the pots around and rotate them to get even coverage.

When you say 1400 ppms is that a run off reading or is that what you are feeding it ?? Cuz that too hot. I would feed at 650 from now on if you were feeding it 1400. If its a run off 1400 it wouldnt be a big deal if you had microbes working for you.

Thats what I think you should do then leave them alone. And maybe add a potassium product by itself at 250 ppms during a watering time.

What do you recommend for a decent soil ph probe? Always good advice from you. I'm happy with the dust shrooms you suggested a while ago. They are nice. Never mind. I see you already answered that question and am looking up the Apera PH60S now.

Heres the deal you have an led light and you need to up the mag. It isnt ph and you need to add microbes. And if your feeding at 1400 you burnt up some of your roots more than likely.

Awesome, looking at the Apera rn. Price is hefty but I'm sure it'll help in prevention of future troubles. About to hit that confirm and pay! Ouch. Lol
