Who’s growing Sativas?

I’m wondering how many of you have a fairly pure Sativa as part of your lineup? Do you find it’s worth your time? I find them to be a real treat but not sure how much time I can invest in growing the . Also moving soon and don’t want to be messing around.

I love the experience and effects of Sativas. Do you run em? Tell me your take
No Biggy last years grow was all Sativas with autos to keep me busy in between times ..lol

this years all Indica's and 'new' autos ...mine ..lol

good luck

Has anyone here ever tried growing Silver Haze? Will this be a good strain for me to try my first ever real sativa as far as growing goes, or is it a more challenging Sativa? I'm going to order some Strawberry Sour Diesel and Amherst Sour Diesel, would either of those two be more suitable for someone whose only grown hybrids their whole life? I plan on ScROGging in a 6.5x6.5x6.5ft space, so while I'm not in a cupboard type space, I'm still a little bit limited. Thanks in advance, y'all are the bomb.
Shouldn't be too tough, I know Super Silver Haze is easy and is up there with Sweet Tooth for commercial indoor growers on the West Coast.

Awesome, thanks for all the responses! I have a friend with Durban Poison I’m thinking of grabbing. I’m moving in about 9 months though and have no space left over currently where I’m at.

I really enjoy smoking something uplifting and energetic in the mornings. I have Tangie as my main girl right now and love it, but it just doesn’t feel Sativa enough for me. I want to invest...

Don't skip different aspects of when to harvest and how long to cure, sometimes just those aspects can make a sativa a indica and vice versa. I had jars of a 70/30 sativa that was like meth.. 6 months later I ran out of my normal blue dream and dug those jars up and it was like blue dream on steroids. Strain was Phifty Cal Kush I think. Good yielder, heavy nugs very few leaves.

I’m starting to get a good handle on my dry and cure. It’s very important to me, and getting it right makes those flavours and aroma pop!

I want a fruity, energetic without giving me anxiety, and low burnout. I just don’t really know where to start. I’m sure it’s very subjective. A haze, lambs breath or Durban is what I’m thinking of starting with. I really do enjoy that haze flavour!

Im on my first Lambsbread; smoked it once and I was ready to run a marathon, do 50 push-ups and mow the lawn - all at the same time!

Found some feminized; currently doing a manifold ScroG to hopefully keep the height under control...

Super Silver Haze and Strawberry Banana

Doesn’t look anything special, but I haven’t toked it yet. Brought a jar of purple Snow White and Walter white with me On this trip, and a hand full of vape pens. Will let you know about the high when I get rolling papers from my car!

Alright I rolled a joint and toked it with the dinner party. Nice sweet soapy smell to the haze when I was hippy picking it. The herb was fairly dry, burned fast but nice transfer of herb aroma to the joint smoke. I feel fairly lively, and loving life. But I’m in my favourite place on earth with my shirt off.

Amen!

Got Snow High's Panama Red, Panama Black (Colombian black/purple haze x panama red), and Crystal Skull, which is Paraguayan choco chiba(actually supposed to be a Colombian, held by a gangster's mother or wife, depending on who you ask) x metal haze. Also got Top Dawg's uptown brown (black haze (brown cut) x mango A5) and Bodhi's herer hp, which is more of a hybrid but still supposed to be very up in effect. I'm not sure how this year is going to go, but I plan on crossing some of these for chuck seeds if I can... also got some indica leaning strains going, but that is for another thread.

Hi Logan,
I was considering SSH. A clerk told me it was now called Amnesia haze. Not sure if that's true. I'm a fan of Mr Nice seeds and they have it. Won't be as long flowering since it's a hybrid...but sativa for sure. Good luck...

Amnesia Haze is one of my favorites for morning time. She stretches for sure but I think easy enough to grow indoors. My first runs with Amnesia Haze were in a five foot tall 2 x 4 tent.

Appreciate the encouragment Dee! At the moment, all I have on hand Sativa-wise is this feminized Silver Haze. But I intend on ordering some Amherst Sour Diesel and Strawberry Sour Diesel, both of which are sativa dominant hybrids (I think like 80/20 sativa/indica), and wasn't sure if maybe they would be a more suitable option for a first time Sativa grower? But based on everyone's opinion here, I think I am going to be ok doing the Silver Haze. Do you think that the Super Silver Haze would be easier for me to grow than the Silver Haze? I know the Silver Haze won't yield like the Super, but that's not really a concern for me.

Logan,
Truthfully, I didn't even know there was a Silver haze. But all of them are worked lines that do well indoors. I would add that you might consider mainlining as a means of controlling height. I did it with all my sativas...on my current run. Some take to it better but my Kali Mists trained easy...as well as my hybrids. But the Thai pheno GTs...damn they are very close to end of stretch. Had to do some top trimming. With vigelance it can be done...
