Would anyone be interested in participating in an auto grow thread?

I seem to be running into Frank everywhere these days! What's up bud?!

I'll join in, but I'm a little behind the pack. I popped 2 Double Grape from Mephisto, they have been above ground since the 6th. Sadly, the only pictures I have are of them being guarded by an overzealous Daring Jumping Spider who tried to claim them. (Frank has already seen these...haha)

This will be my first indoor grow ever and my first real attempt at an auto grow. So my goal is..."do not kill them". I may also turn it into my first coco grow, but that is TBD. All my experience is outdoor with photos, so I guess we will see how my established skills translate (if at all).

The setup is a 24"×48"×70" tent, with a HLG 260 R-Spec. Finishing some Oasis Genetics "NL×BB" and "UK Cheese" autos in there now that I got for cheap from TrueNorth in April and threw outside to test how they would do on their own. Figured I could at least give them a chance, while also using it as practice to dial in my light distances, temp, humidity etc.

They will be in 7 gallon SmartPots, and the plan is to scrog them. So that will be another "first" to add to the list.

Sadly...you fine people will now be witness to my vile debauchery of these stellar genetics!

May God have mercy on us all...
I have almost the same setup... 2x4x60 tent with same HLG 260 in 3000K. And I have 7 gallon fabric pots also... Also planning to do my first Coco grow.

I seen these as well over there, but he looked way bigger on AFN. Now that the pic shows the baby plant and the little fur ball he doesn't look so bad. Id let him do his thing and patrol for any other unwanteds. Every joirnal i have ever seen there has nothing but high praise for the DG. Got 10 seeds here myself.
These were on AFN?! Sweet...I'm not even a member there. Someone must have borrowed them. That's awesome. Do you have the link? I wanna check it out.

For scale...here you can see the upside down K-cups in the spider picture that I use for seedlings, minus the spider, plus a "Chreme De La Chem" and "Toof Decay" seedling. The DoubleGrapes are far left and far right with the wrapper that goes up over the edge of the Kcup. I ran out of cotton sheets and had to use paper towels. Haha

Oh perfect! That will deff make it easier to share what we learn. Pretty cool.
I grew autos once about 10 years ago... But they sucked and I don't think it counts. If I get set up it will be my first real auto grow, indoors, in Coco. I am planning to use dry organic amendments to mimic the setup of Mr cancuk from YouTube. He seems to have good success and it seems to be a low maintenance setup.

Make sure you have no fungus gnats as the Gaia green coco coir method mr Canuck uses is heaven for the little buggers to nest in, they love it. My son quit using it for that reason and also they grow small autos. Same plant with mega crop is much bigger. That was our experiences with that method.got rid of it and was able to rid the tent of gnats finally.

Is this a dry nutrient that you mix with a medium? Is this something you use with soil? Coco?

It's a mix of dry amendments, you precharge the coco coir with the first blend and only give it ph'd water for the first month and then I think he would top dress the pot every 2 weeks after that with a different blend. I felt it didn't give the autos what they needed in veg as they never really stretched. Plants were 2 oz max,,,not big enough in my books. I like plants bigger than what the breeder says!!DWC gives me that with mega crop. I use general hydroponics water farms.

It's a dry nute that you premix in water. It is sold as a 1 part nute but under led cal/mag has to be added. https://greenleafnutrients.com/?v=3e8d115eb4b3 They are giving away free 300g bags for the cost of shipping right now, give it a try, you will be happy you did.
Sorry about the last reply,,just finished a 12 hour nightshift,,brain fart.

Update... 3 BD's and 1 GSC have tails and are in their end pots. 2 of the GSC seeds never sank, scuffed them, all in paper towels now. The GSC that rooted produced a weak looking 1/2" hook root. The BD's looked aggressive.

I am begining to have my doubts on the age of the GSC. These were part of the promo, recently purchased, but these are acting like old beans.
