Ok so I have a plant that is In flower, grown pretty much in the corner of my room. I give it around 6-7 hours of light a day and then I cut the lights off around 8 pm. The problem is that the sun comes up at 7:30am and therefore my room loses total darkness.

I have already had a few instances where I don’t think it got 12 hours of total darkness but it has yet to rebel and flower is continuing on it seems. Just wondering if anyone has had a successful flowering under similar conditions.

edit: In an attempt to give it more dark hours/total darkness I throw a blanket over the space when I wake up in the morning. My room is already not totally dark when I wake up though.

Heard of guys running the whole way through 11/13 so I think you’ll be alright I wouldn’t bother with the blanket but that’s me.
Well I know with the blanket they are getting much closer to total darkness but idk you may be right. Thank you a lot for the reply though that makes me feel much more hopeful.

No worries man and here’s a tip of mine, in flower I take a picture of the same cola from the same angle/position every 5-7 days up to you, and flip back and forth on your phone (assuming you have one lol) you will see growth difference. I know sometimes when you look at them 2500 times a day like I do it’s hard to see the growth, so as long as I don’t see deficiencies and the pictures are growing, I’m happy. Cheers man
