Wages surged and unemployment fell though weird. Maybe the market is tapped? Look like we need more slackers to get back into the labor market.

Do you eat turds while they are fresh or do they have to be processed through the Republican propaganda machine first? From what you say, they don't add vale when they process their turds into propaganda.

Just saying, you might want to cut out the middle man.

the U.S. economy is not “the hottest economy anywhere in the world.” Last month, the U.S. economy gained just 20,000 jobs. Right now, we need to create about 90,000 new jobs a month just to keep up with our growing population. Even worse, as our infrastructure continues to crumble, 31,000 construction jobs were lost last month. Meanwhile, while the rich are getting richer, the weekly earnings of the average worker actually went down, not up, by 3.1 percent in January. Despite what President Trump says, it is not “a hot economy” when hundreds of thousands of young people are unable to go to college because they can’t afford it and millions more are struggling with outrageous levels of student debt, when over 34 million Americans have no health insurance, when one out of five Americans can’t afford the medicine prescribed by their doctors, and when nearly 40 million Americans are living in poverty. Our job: Create an economy that works for all of us, not just the top one percent.

why do you keep finding isolated incidents and claiming they mean way more that they do? i've admitted that the only thing trump has done so far that isn't a pile of horseshit is improve the economy. my fear is that the improvement is temporary, and that the consequences of his current decisions will cost us a lot more in the near future than they are netting us now...ALL the financial consultants that i've read interviews with, read editorials from, say the same thing...short term temporary improvements do not justify the upheavals he's causing world wide. he has single handedly upset the entire world economy, trashed long standing trade agreements, and turned half the world into mercantile enemies...it really would take a financial genius to turn this situation into a win...and i do not think trump is any kind of genius

Hey blaze, they are non union. I made $40 an hour a few years back when I retired. Some electronics guys I know work in KY. They made $7 an hour less than we did. And had mandatory ot. Overtime on anything over 40. For us over time after 8 hours. Double after 12 and on Sunday. Vacation was 8 weeks. Pension. I could go on. That being said they would have traded me jobs in a heartbeat. Do you get your info about Toyota from the movie Gung Ho? Screw toyata Honda too. Great movie btw. Now where are you working?

Another great one blazo. You eat much cereal? Those honey Bunches of oats commercials are hilarious. I have two buddies who work in maintenance there. They have around 70 people running the complex I'm familiar with. 12 hour days. No ot. They get 6 days off a year. Swing shifts. Miller brewing. Same same. Who do you know? Do they work for Jimmy John's... You see automation has done away with a large portion of manufacturing jobs. And no more maintenance isn't needed it's less. We had 130 people in my field where I worked in 1992. Now they do the same work with around 20. Used to be 20000 plus who worked at this facility. Now around 2800. Additive manufacturing will decrease this again. Soon. But they are still making the same profits. Shareholders. Give me your input.

Well it's time for this old man to go to bed. You trumpkins come up with something salient to discuss with me tomorrow. You have all night to discuss it with your mom's...
And He said, " I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."

That's how my company pays too, anything over 8 is OT holidays and Sundays are double time.

It sucks that I'm regulated by FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and they only allow me to work 70 hours in 8 days then I have to take a 34 hour reset. I usually get 65-70 hours in 5-6 days though. I can only be on duty 14 hours a day with 11 hours being drive time. I'd work more if I could.
