mainly hermies as I wasn't feeding enough. So would harvest when I saw some seed pods.

Just going by the buds themselves, its only started to throw a few brown hairs the last two weeks. No receding at all and still bulking up.

Never had the strain go for that long. The genetics I know that are in the strain are. C99, Mexican ,ledo uno and skunk. The strain makes nice bulk buds. Just shame you got a bit of herm.

I’ll start by saying I was specifically answering dustydukes’s post. Not just a general watering in coco question. He clearly stated his plants are only 2WEEKS old and that he’s already lost a few to overwatering. Young plants typically don’t drink a lot compared to older plants with established root balls. Therefore there is no need to drench them daily like u said. Again, I replied specifically to his question about his 2wk Old plants.

  • Coco coir is actually pretty forgiving, which is why it can be a good choice for beginners. As long as coco doesn’t dry out completely or get utterly soaked all the time, your cannabis plants will probably be fine.
  • Seedlings drink much less water than bigger plants and may only need a few cups of water at a time at first.
  • Some growers prefer to water their coco coir every day regardless of how wet the medium is. For some growers in some setups, this works well, especially in a controlled environment with perfectly sized containers and relatively low humidity in the air. However, for beginners I recommend waiting until the top dries out at least bit!”
Hence why I said there are lot of variables dependent on how often to water. Keeping a drenched medium coco or soil is also a lovely invitation for fungus gnats.

Speaking of Mofo. The Hemps fields here have tripled in size and due to them being grown for seeds are hermies and are pollinating everyone's outdoor plants. Some not very happy out door growers.

Oh and the day u pull 29 ounces off one plant grown in straight coco is the day u can tell me I’m not fit to give advice on watering.

Yeah it was a co op the lvtk with it prob was only about 10-13 oz ...
I had a pic here of the damage but it's gone from phone but yes mate...I didn't take it to hard but my mate did

I have about 20 jack shits outdoors under led lights most she to be sativa dominant but all have a really nice stem rub.. Looking forward to flowering this strain. Got a headtrip strain from bodhi. Heavy heavy buds . seeded a branch with dank Sinatra. Seeds will find there way down your way sometime this winter

Grow weed easy is a really Shit source and the chick who runs it is a novice not much better then mofo (well actually she is but she’s still a newb. She gets on plants even though she runs autos though).


And again I’m not sure why you keep mentioning soil and coco together whe they should never be treated the same.

Soil - has microbes breaking down organic matter into useable nutrients for the plant, needs a wet/dry cycle, can be fed plain water, mostly ph stable (within reason)

Coco - inert, no microorganisms, needs mineral nutrients added with water or plants will die, plain water is the devil, not ph stable.

Highlight where I have implied I’m referring to soil. To rephrase the last sentence, “doesn’t matter what u grow in constantly wet plus nutrient rich = gnat breeding ground.”
As for your opinion on the owner of gwe, that’s exactly what it is, an opinion. Everyone’s entitled to have one.

Whatever you do don't put D.E on top of your coco to stop gnats,it's crazy but that's what some people suggest will stop them getting into your roots

Oh nice mate! They'll give you some massive plants hey. Did you put down the Jack skunk pheno or the shit pheno? The jack skunk grows big, the shit still grows big but super dense! Good luck with them mate :)

You really should seek some help. Not sure why you and round up want to attack everyone all the time for. Its kinda sad. Entertaining but sad. Not sure why you think growing in Coco is hard for, it would have to be the most popular soilless medium to grow in as its easier than Hydroponics. O and I think you took my advice last year on watering coco, you were watering it without any added nutes. :wink:. You got fungus nats and didn't take my advice or I think Pappas advice and did ur own thing and then complained it didn't work and caused more problems. Fungus gnats are not a huge problem, they cause next to no damage despite what some people say they are also very, very easy to deal with. You asked twice not that long ago how to pop seeds...Twice in two weeks...and your having a go at me giving advice? Vorstock grows small plants and his grow advice is spot on. Not sure what size has to do with knowledge...

Edit: a few Q got edited out of my post and how to water coco as well... How strange...:hump:
A few days ago I just quoted two quotes and wrote nothing in reply and they got deleted even though the two quotes still exist in their original posts. How Strange..:hump:
