Thought I would post an update of my girl.

I just topped her today. Can’t take clones no rooting hormone or soil. Probably gonna wait till after she heals from the topping.

I installed my inline fan. 4 inch. Damn thing is super loud. Will totally keep my tent cool now. I do need to keep a bottom vent open though If I don’t the negative pressure is so bad that the tent gets sucked in way too bad. Thinking about putting a cloth or a shirt taped to the other end of the fan to quiet it down a bit. Don’t need it pulling that much air.

Very nice grow.. Is that scrog a laundry clothes hanger rack?
Hey dude! My scrog is constructed with tensioned pipe strapping, with some white nylon rope and mini bolts and nuts! But I could totally dry some socks on it if I wanted extra musky buds.

I like scrog, but my next batch into flowering will be SOG just for fun.

P.S, don’t mind my cheap labor worker in the photos.... (Mom). As she helped me go from my Skywalker OG Mother bush to a scrogged out stadium/V. Have a nice day!

Just to add to the thread; a profile of my local Albertan conditions

Cold, dry. My humidity is low inside so I mist daily, but my temps this time of year are perfect. Then my flowering chamber heat gets carbon scrubbed and pumped into my houses heating system.

What sort of Canadian conditions are you contending with?

Tried making bubble hash for the first time today with the 5 oz. trim from my recent harvest and a few grams of older God Bud I had lying around. I had dried the trim thoroughly, and half was from a dry trim anyway.

Got quite a bit of plant material in the finished product at 160 microns, 73 looks reasonably blonde, and the 25 is really resiny, but also greenish. Must have stirred too long or vigorously - used a small flexible paint stirrer in the drill. The hash is lightening up a bit as it dries, though.

Should be dry enough to weigh tomorrow, may take a look through the microscope but I don't expect it to be pretty enough to post here, lol. Suspect that I broke many resin heads crumbling it up to dry. It'll probably mostly go in the freezer until I have a rosin press and more material, but I will have to sample the 73 micron.

Yeah I’m in central Ontario, I’m able to keep a steady 70ish degrees but humidity swings from 20-50 in my flower cab. This is what my first indoor grow looks like. Hoping to get much denser this time around. Also going to get a loup.
I can’t remember where I posted it... probably in the harvesting section.... but if you buy a $1 laser pointer and dismantle it... it has a focusing lens that will function as a macro camera. Use a bobby pin and pliers or something similar to hold on to it, and tape it to your phone.

So a couple of posts above I was talking about my first attempt at making bubble hash. Obtained an unbelievable 14.5 grams from my source material - roughly 4 oz of sugar leaf, 1 oz of lower popcorn/larf, and a few (<3) grams of really frosty, but old God bud. It may lose a bit more water weight, but sure feels dry after drying for 24 hrs on cardboard.

Here's some microscope pics of the three grades from the first and second wash:
160 micron, first and second respectively. just a bit more contaminant than the 73 micron:

73 micron, first and second run All smooshed together, but the least contaminated of the three:
73_first_run.jpg 73_second_run.jpg

25 micron, first and second run - a lot of stalks and much more veg matter:

It's all been mixed together and is in a jar in the freezer.

Ordered some aluminum bar stock today (1x3x5 inch) to build rosin press plates. Cartridge heaters and PID controller next....
