had my card for a while now. logged in and was able to print provisional letter. this may work for people that lose cards in future.

Congrats to everyone. Time to go get meds!!!

Shop people shop. The more people shop the more prices come down? Lets hope so. stay medicated my friends
Unless everyone buys $60/8ths thinking more money means better quality. I see a lot of that going on.

They're not. They follow a very strict "no product in the open" policy. I was told not to even bring broken/leaky cartridges back to the dispensary because technically that's product in the open.
Correct. I had a defective vape cartridge, so I had to get out of line, go outside and on to the Property next door to have him try it.

I know there's still plenty of questions about the process, and I'm sensitive to those of you caught mid-application by these sweeping changes, and I know we're all still frozen stiff, but can we take a moment here to reflect on the fact that

:leaf: THE ERA OF THE 90+ DAY WAIT IN ILLINOIS IS OFFICIALLY OVER. :leaf:
If everything works as announced (<insert government futility joke here>) the "wait" times for new applicants to get access to medicine, after submitting all forms, will be like 1-2 days for MCPP (qualified condition) patients and (correct me if I'm wrong) zero (0) days for OAPP (opioid) patients who can complete the patient application right in the dispensary and get immediate access.

It's a good day.
Not so Fast There. Let's not Forget the November people here who got a Royal Screw Job.

I applied electronically on 1/21/19 and got my provisional with QP tonight.
Very Very Happy for you, but So Representative with all that is wrong with this state. How, in any way, shape or form, is it right for a person who applied a week ago be given access before someone who applied 3 months ago. And they have the Nerve to call this First in First out? bullshit.jpg

Applied online 11/5
Approved as of 1/24 when I called
Hopefully card in mail today 2/1
There must have been a ton of people apply that week, or PA preparation has slowed everything down. I applied online 2 days after you, and as of yesterday they have not gotten to my app. I was told it will likely be a while as they are backed up.

Not to mention the people who applied by mail in December and early January. I was fortunate enough to be able to put a stop payment on the money order that I mailed with my application in December and apply online instead. I feel pretty lucky to have my provisional access letter now in hand.

I spoke to a rep today and will be doing the same because I know my application hasn’t been touched and my check has not been cashed.

How long from applying/paying to provisional access under the new system?

From the info others have shared in the thread, it's supposed to be within 24 hours. Did you apply online or by mail?

After not getting the provisional download I just called 100 or so times and got through. In short if you applied before December 1 you are screwed and you have to wait for mail and there is no way, or they arent going to go through the steps to do so, that you can get the letter emailed or download from their site. Bullshit that they received my app at the end of October and people that applied in January are getting access first.

Anyone looking to call, make sure to keep hanging up and calling back until you get put on hold and then just wait. I only had to call 29 times and wasn’t on hold that long. Maybe 10 minutes. Started calling around 9:30am

Anyone that applied by mail should also have provisional.

Go to https://medicalcannabispatients.illinois.gov/Account/AcctMatching.aspx and create an account. Once you create your account it should be linked to your app. Then just download the provisional form.

Please report back if it works for you.

Quick note. This may not work if they didn’t start processing your app since you won’t be in computer yet. But if they started processing (looking like November people) you should be able to get papers.
