hi people so i have a few plants that have just been around 6 weeks from 12/12 but their not ripe yet
i need them up in two weeks so my question is would i be best reducing my lights to 10/14 to help ripen or just leave it and pull when my time is up. im going to miss the swell so my end yield will be fuck all fortunately but id like it riper then she is now. i hear reducing light will make them ripen faster but is it pointless considering its only two weeks

Adding far red can help put plants to sleep faster and help them consume more photosynthetic time a day say even 13/11 (I'd not suggest 13.5/10.5)

Uvb- is a good way to help mature plants faster and increase thc production. Depending on the amounts you use. Not sure if you are looking for an equipment solution.

If you got to pull before they are done, it sucks, but you work with what you go with.

I would bulk them up by leaving them on 12hrs for the last two weeks, a good cure and they will be gold.

i set them to 11/13 so see if that does anything. im moving so not after equipment but i think ill look in to the far red for my next grow

I would just keep it as is although the far red and uvb would help some ur so far along now that it's not going to make too much difference imo.
How are your trichs looking? :)

You should look into uv-b and far/deep red (really a lot of benefits to adding anything between 660-730 nm wavelengths. Very fascinating to add to any lighting system, I'm debating adding elements to a cmh based tent.

Edit: The uv-b would depending on the rate of application, but id likely not worth the risk without the proper experience.
Those far red initiator pucks rapidled are slinging seem to be getting good reviews from people all over so can't argue with the results!

Oh for sure for a total cost of like 40 bucks and 5 minutes of time you can't beat it.

Also the Emerson boost and exotic uv-a supplemental boards from rapid get great reviews.
