There's no "green" in the mix. Plants can'y grow without it. Ask Kingrow. He'll tell you.
I didnt say plants cant grow without it i said it plants grow better with it and that it creqtes a superior spectrum than just taking the higher number ppfd, somthing that use to be well known but feels like weve gone backwards since leds turned up and confused the newer growers.

Its why i find the hps spectrum and cmh to be better weighted and fuller, leds are light years behind here are then the spectrum shift of multi point low wqttqge diodes is far more troublesome than a high wattage singke point.

You just dont want to admit the obvious flaws of leds :-)

That's why I deleted the post. Not gonna spread "fake news". lol
The only flaws I have found in the "newest" LED, is the prices need to come down some more before more people jump on the "LED train".You ask people and "price" is #1, not inefficient plant spectrum. Hortilux has even started a LED line.
Face it, it really is the future of lighting. You just can't admit it.

Sticker shock does keep people off them, which makes sense.

What that hype drives market production.... Recycling is sold as green but hasnt saved the world yet.

To be sold and to actually do somthing are two different things with all the recent dumbasses on this planet, proves zilcho, might as well write some bullshit about sustainable fishing as well pppfffttt :-)

Recycling works when funded. Capitalism is killing the planet. Look at Sweden's recycling program. So efficient they inport trash.

There is a world data set on how great thecplanets doing, recycling dosent stop the expotential rising just like leds havent managrd to reduce energy budgets like they so promised :-)

kingrow LOVES using extra energy to cool his imaginary growroom. its still "cheaper" for him to use HPS hahahaha

lol I saved 100 a month switching to led and boarding up my ac hole. pays for my lights in a year. what did you say? you must be senile
In my situation it would take me five years to realize any savings from paying through the nose for the latest LED setup that actually grows as good as my HID.

It's not worth it to me to spend $1000 or more for decent LED's when an under $200 HID system will produce the same quantity and quality of any LED setup out there right now. The good LED's grow good weed but they're expensive. The other stuff isn't worth the cost of shipping. I'll stick with my HID for now. If my ballast dies then I'll probably look into making a change. Until then I'm not spending a dime I don't need to. I'm very happy with my grows right now. The thought of using less power or generating less heat doesn't get me up in the morning.

All of us are showing electric usage reductions from switching to LEDs. I just wanted to "raise the bar" on the quality of my grows. And it most definitely has. Terps and Trichome production has both increased by going to COBs.
And 1 more thing,
I have no so called "larf" from COBs, unlike what I was getting using HPS lights.

Then it's not the best for you. Which is all most of us are saying. If you're not worried about heat or power, don't switch. But don't also claim LED is crap. Not that I'm saying you're saying it's crap.

As long as you are satisfied with your grow. That is all that really matters. No matter if you use a regular light bulb and a heat lamp.
