Centurion Trimmers. Buyer beward

First off let me say I love my centurion trimmers. Personally I bought it for a number of reasons including the 5 to 10 year warranty, as these machines are not cheap in any sense of the word. Between my gladiator and pro model were talking about 20 grand, which is a lot of scissor work.

This is what the company says about their warranty... https://cprosolutions.com/sp_faq/how-long-is-the-warranty/

"
We at CenturionPro Solutions offer a 10 year warranty with all of our machines. We only use the highest quality brand name parts sourced from North America in the build out of our machines. High quality components such as Baldor motors, Timken bearings and Toro cutting reels are some of the reasons why we offer the best warranty in the industry. Our machines are battle tested and have been put through the most rigorous “real life” conditions. As long as you follow the operational/maintenance instructions, your machine will not quit on you."

Here is another description of their warranty from their site.

"
BEST WARRANTY IN THE INDUSTRY
At Centurion Pro, we know of the problems associated with downtime and the importance of tight timelines when it comes to the harvesting process. This is why all of our trimmers are backed by a 10-year warranty. Our knowledge, experience and technology will keep you up and running smoothly for decades to come.

Trust us, we got your back!!"

COMPLETE BULLSHIT

Okay so after 1 year the motor dies with the Pro. It did get about 120lbs through it of dry product before it shit the bed on me. I was running it wet. I called Centurion to have them overnight a new one to me which I payed for, full price, though I let them know my motor had just gone down. Never did they say, we can replace it for free or anything, they were far to excited to take my money and I was not in the mood to argue at that time. Well the motor they were kind enough to overnight me came in a large box with no packaging material so it jumped all around. So much so that the shipping company dropped it so many times there was a large hole in the box, not a tear, a hole. The new motor took 17 minutes to warm up and get to full speed, every time I turned it on, which was a huge pain in my ass and cost me a lot. I notified the company and the shipper. The shipper payed them the price of the motor so they could pay me back on top of me paying them. So they got money twice, full price, for one motor that came broken due to their lack of standards in packaging which likely caused it to be dropped, many times. Jason, the VP of business operations, finally called me, as the girls are great for taking money though little else that regards balance. Jason, told me he was voiding my warranty, after I swore. My anger was from their lies and my injury, due to their mistake which they wanted me to go out of my way for, creating more injury and wasted time, to get a replacement for the motor under warranty and the one that came broken. Im waiting on a call from the owner though people should know, they care nothing for the customers who bought them their private planes or the industry standard of integrity they binded their company too in order to increase sales substantially. Do I like their product, yes. Are they a heartless liar, pill head, asshole? Absolutely. Few people are so dumb and greedy, then pill heads. Maybe they smoked to much phosphorus, I have no idea though disappointing to say the least.

I own 2 twister t4 to pull clients rooms down. One client has a centurion pro I believe. He is on his THIRD motor! Wtf, 3 damn motors. My 1st t4 has 80+hrs, 2nd has only 15hrs.

I'm actually (was) looking for a centurion as it's a fn beast and will chew up anything you throw in the huge barrel. But the company not honoring warranties, screw that. I'll stay away.

The centurion is a beast, I agree. If your prepared it seems worth it though I was pushing to the max to even have a Centurion for harvest. I did not have 700 for a motor I was assured was covered or another 700 to replace the one that came broken. Gonna have to stock up. I had about 100 hours on that motor I would guess. The company seems to say the main issue is that if the motors run with less then the 600 plus watts they need they go bad. You would think that they would just include a fuse to shut down with low volts instead of killing the motors though it seems some one saw a opportunity for commissions on selling new motors. It seems everyone takes a cut and the creator is off enjoying the profits with out a clue. Still hoping to hear from him. Ill give them a couple more days to call before I call back up to get hopeful progress. I still think the centurion is a better machine then the twister though be prepared to grab an extra motor from the manufacturer Baldor, first.

Still nothing. Erin, the one who sent me a unpackaged motor in a large box, is telling me that it worked for my harvest because when I told her the day it arrived with decent dents in heavy metal, she told me, if it's unused, send it back and once received she would process another. If you have 4 days before the first freeze and 100 lbs to bring in, do you use a motor that takes 17 minutes to get to speed or do you say, fuck my kidnapped child, fuck my crop this year, I'm going to send Erin back the motor she fucked up so I can vacation until a new one gets here? Oh I know, dispite a pending lawsuit with the FBI for my seized bitcoin, I should start sending even more money, I dont have, to Erin for a full priced motor (200 more then getting it from their distributors), to replace the one I just payed full price for, to replace the motor that is covered under the best warranty in the industry, issued by a company who knows about down time and "Has your back". I live in the middle of no where surround by meth heads and fentynal addicts who Rob me when I leave. My place looks like a prison camp and when I don't leave my dogs get shot, on my property, to try and make me. Though for Erin I should drive an hour to get a box and packaging material, when my property smell is in full swing, so she can fuck me harder in a comprimed position while I get robbed and pay more money to fix her mistake, before I have to buy a printer to print the return label that arrived by email about 2 weeks later. Stay away from pills people, it's fucking degrading and you'll end up heartless, greedy and stupid like the morons left in charge of a company with so much to offer. How about comp me the 10p I lost in lost time from her stupidity? Or comp me for adding stress and 30 percent more time dicking around to my already insane work days? A big FU to Centurions gold digging pill heads. I'm just asking for my money back. I even offer for them to send a replacement motor so they Keep the commission though pill head wants another unjust sale to feed her needs. Keep your apology, it means shit at this point

I have ran my T4 since it came out. The hour meter reads 3650 or something. Outdoor, indoor, larf, nugs it has done a good job on all of it. I get the blade sharpened every 6 months or so and I am thinking about a replacement tumbler but it is a beast. I haven’t replaced any major parts. I have watched friends burn out centurion motors and bearing with just a big outdoor garden.

I don’t trim my stuff with it anymore, I dry hand trim these days. Fuck trim machines but, if you have a room that has to get down, it does the job.

I bought my first centurion 6 years ago from my friend who had it for a year and stopped growing. My machine never had any issues and then I upgraded to the gladiator which kicks ass. I have now had it for 3 years and I still havent had a problem with it. All my friends have centurions and they all love them. Reading Karmaxul comments he sounds like hes a pill head lol

Which one?

Left I just bought with 14.7hrs for 3900
One on right I bought 3 yrs ago with 14.2hrs for 3500.

I run a cannabis trimming service with these

Yeah I ran mine about 14 hrs some days. I was pushing the first motor. I'm not mad I had to buy a replacement though I thought it was designed to push through as the company says only water is needed. With cases of oil the motors will last, unless they come broken in the middle of harvest. When that happens I refer you to what they put up for apparently, only sales. I got my gladiator in a couples days ago. I'm not saying the centurion does not destroy other trimmers. I'm saying words at times words have depth and at times do not. I also see the history of cannabis and it's integrity. Perhaps I should not fret when a top seat hopes to harvest what should not be touched. Seeing how people "grow" I'm not surprised I'm the bad guy.

Never use water. I'm having issues with this new t4. Guy used ice water. I only use 100% hemp oil vs water. My old t4 has 80+hrs and ive never had a broken bolt, or any issue period.

What happens to metal with contact with water? What happens if you do NOT scrape and clean the fan when you use water.

Using water is bananas. I use help oil, vegetable works in a pinch. After a big round I clean the drum and blade with alcohol.

My drum has some broken areas and bends from being dropped a 1000 times and still works great. Just have to fine tune the machine using the set screws

I have no idea how many hours it had. Maybe 200? The fan never has an issue though I got the 220v. I'm skipping the bag next year and putting the blowers outside the trimming area, I hope. I'm more pissed about getting a broken motor they got payed twice for, then I get screwed on top of screwed. The Centurions blade surface is twice the t4. More weight though less buildup. With oil the motor should lkast 3 - 8 times that. About every pound or 2 finish weight, I spray the barrel and wipe it clean which is easy with maintenance. Doing this keeps the blade from getting any buildup so no shut downs or motor stress. With more watts it could maybe push through? The blower freezes in the winter and sheets of resin fall out in the spring.

Now owner is not coming back for months. On Friday no one who works for the company was in. The person who answered allegedly only answered phones for the person who has been ignoring me for over a month, Erin. Great product, moron staff

Centurion, by far. Centurion is an amazing product from a company run by grandiose bratty, illogical, heartless, egotistical children. Staff I would likely say Twister. Just be sure to buy extra motors as warranty is bull shit and its twice as much getting replacement motors from centurion, in event of failure. If you do get a broken one and shipping company sends refund to centurion for you, they will take it and likely snort it up their noses. I hope the SAfrican trip was not a pill stop. Fucking junkie tweaker scabs, selling a needed product.

Update. After ignoring my emails, screening my calls, I started leaving voice mail after voice mail until they blocked my number. After calling from Google hangouts they picked up and we actually had a conversation. Erin, who seems to have atleast 7 other identities, told me FedEx did not give me the check number from when they reimbursed because that's illegal (she was not sure why it was illegal though pressed on) She told me fedex did not pay them regardless of what many at fedex confirmed though ignored me when i asked if she could look for the check number I sent them on the 14th of last month (26 days ago). After trying to explain law to her, after telling me she owns the company, I felt like when I was a kid and could not get the circle to go in the square hole. She told me she would send another motor (I was about to fly up there to see pupil sizes of the owner/employees). I hope it arrives working. This is what hydro causes. Please grow plants as nature does, via nutrient cycling not ferts, or this could happen to you.

I hope you get this resolved. It is experiences like this that makes you sit down and design your own machine without the problems of the old unit.

These days you can have anything cut, bend, drilled or routered to your dreams, just having to send off a few files and payment.
