This is the first time I have have ever made a thread.lol. but I have been reading up alot and following along on alot of grow journals on here and would love to hear input from others. This is my second real grow with proper equipment and nutrients, but the first time I have had real good genetics. My first grow was just 2 bagseeds. One of them hermied on me and pollinated the other one. I believe only the lower branches seeded on me, but wont be sure till it's done curing and I can break it down. I'm in the process of hang drying those 2 plants so it will be 1 or 2 more days till I can use my grow room again, because they are hanging in there. So i will begin germinating my seeds tomorrow or the next day.

My Equiptment
Seeds are Gamma Berry by dark horse genetics. Its Bruce Banner #5 × Strawberry diesel
I'm using 3 Hlg 65's in 4000 k (I'm gonna try to get another one in 3000k)
For Nutes I'm running GH Floranova grow and bloom. GH Koolbloom wet and dry for flower. Photosynthesis plus, and myco chum premium microbe food.
I'm gonna start them in 1/2 gallon phat sacks and finish in 3 gallon phat sacks.
My soil I'm starting in is Organic Mechanics seed starting soil and when I transplant I will use Great lakes just add water soil.(it worked great last time)
I'm gonna post some.pics of my last grow and my setup.20181026_211151.jpg 20181026_174109.jpg 20181026_211151.jpg 20181026_174109.jpg 20181027_174354.jpg 20181027_174346.jpg 20181027_173119.jpg 20181027_173114.jpg IMG_20181020_115253590_HDR.jpg IMG_20181020_115243694_HDR.jpg IMG_20181020_115239356_HDR.jpg

They are regular seeds and I got them in a six pack so I will be popping them 3 at a time and hopefully getting 1 good female each run. I really wanna scrog it but have to do more research.

So today i began germinating 3 of my Gamma Berry seeds. So hopefully today or the next day I can plant them. But I pulled the other 2 plants I had hang drying and finished trimming them and jarred them up with a 62% bovida in each jar. I'm so stoked I cant wait to get this Gamma Berry going and see what I can produce.

2 of 3 of seeds I had germinating have cracked and you can see the root but it has not come out of shell. Hopefully by tomorrow after work they will all have tap root coming out, and I can plant them in soil.

Today 2 of the 3 germinating seeds had a small tap root coming out and 3rd one cracked but no root has come out yet. So I planted the 2 with roots pointing down in a half gallon phat sack. The soil is organic mechanics seed starting soil and I watered it with bottled water before I planted the seed.

Any opinions and or thoughts would be cool. How far should I keep the light from them after germination and before it pops thru the soil.

Day 3: 11/05/18
Still nothing much going on here, All 3 have broke thru the soil and are finally starting to grow. Right now I'm only running 2 of the 3 Hlg 65's, and I'm running them 24 hours a day at about 18 inches from the top of the fabric pot. In a week or so I'm gonna switch them to 18/6 light schedule.
Hopefully this weekend I can make it to the grow store to get some Mylar to hang on walls and floor.

My only thought was transplanting out of a fabric pot, if those phat sacks are fabric, can be hard.

Lights, I'm new and stuck. I read 12, 24, 30... if your hand is ok by the light, your plants are. Everything has been posted somewhere, some time, on every forum and article. With that said, mine are about 18-22". I'm thinking of going to 16 or so. For no reason, other than to try it out myself. My lights aren't a purpose made LED light like your HLG. Just regular led E26 light bulbs. I have burnt my plants at a foot or possibly a bit less.

Ya these 1/2 gallon phat sacks have a velcro side where it's easy for transplanting. MY last grow when they were this young I was still using a CFL light so I'm not sure how close these HLG's should be when they are this young. I'm going with 18 inches and they seem to be fine.

Day 4: 11/06/18
In my opinion I think these plants are chugging along, I dont remember them growing this fast last time around. Still on 24 hours a day of lights on next week I will switch to 18/6 light schedule.
On my last grow the buds are curing nicely. I finally weighed and on the big plant I got just around a Qp and the smaller plant was just around 2 ounces. I know I will still lose a little weight in curing. But I believe I did pretty good for my first grow.

Day 5: 11/07/18
All 3 of the plants have some new growth coming in and look nice and healthy. I gave each plant a small amount of bottled water today.
I plan on topping each plant a couple times and lst training. I really want to try a scrog out but I'm not quite sure how that would work with my seeds being regular and not feminzed.

Day 7: 11/09/18
They look really good, nice and green. They all have some nice new growth coming in. So far the middle one is growing the fastest. The one one the left is kinda growing sideways a small amount, but still growing fine. Super stoked to see these take off.
I have been giving them a very small amount of bottled water every day. Theu seem to love it.

Day 8: 11/10/18
Well I finally made it to the grow store today and I decided to go with flat white instead of Mylar , the guy at he grow store said that's what he uses so I figured I would give it a try. Got it all hung up ad looks great. Oh I also got plant markers so I can know which pheno is which.
All three plants look great but G.B #1 looks the biggest and then #2 then #3 as far as growth and size. All 3 have 4 new leaves coming in.

Day 10: 11/12/18
All 3 of the Gamma Berries got there first dosage of nutes tonight. I gave them just a small amount. I mixed up a Gallon of distilled water with half a teaspoon of Floranova Grow. And i split half of that gallon among the 3 plants. They all look very nice and healthy but G.B. # 3 is definitely the runt of the group. And G.B#1 is growing the fastest and is the biggest so far.

Day 12
So when i gave them the first bit of nutrients i think it was still a little early i can see a small amount of burn on the tips of G.B#1. G.B#3 is the smallest and it really dident like the nutes. But G.B#2 has no sign of nute burn and seemed to love it. So today, 2 days after i gave nutes i gave a very small amount of bottled water each.

Day 16 11/18/18
So i ended up giving one of the gamma berrys away to a friend. It was the worst looking one and i needed the space. Im helping my Daughter with her science fair project and im starting three lettuce plants for her. The science fair project is which fertilizer helps the plant grow the best? And i allready have good ferts...lol
But the best looking Gamma berry is #2 right now its nice and perky and green. Its now the biggest also. G.B#1 has some weird looking like rumpled leaves.
Sucks im only down to 2 now i really hope i get at least 1 female...
Also as of this last monday i set timer to 18/6 light schedule. And i still havent given more nutes ever since i got minor nute burn just bottled distilled water every other day.

Day 20 11/22/18

So Last night i decided to transplant because they were dropping pretty bad and just did not look happy in the half gallon phat sacks. So i transplanted to 3 gallon phat sacks with great lakes just add water soil.
When i got home tonight they are lokking 75% better and have perked back up. Oh I also went by the grow store and got Armor Si by General hydroponics so that i can get the plant Silica.
Tonight at midnight Greenpoint seeds is having a huge black friday sale and everything is 55% off.I have had my eye on 2 strains they carry for a while. The Tomahawk looks amazing and the Dreamcatcher looks just as good. So I have a couple hours to make my mind up. But im ordering one or the other tonight. Super stoked!!! Any opinions on either of those greenpoint strains would be awesome.
