Homemade oil for my vape pen

Hey guys read through the whole thread, I was wondering why EJ Mix was not mentioned in here is it not the preferred method for emulsifiying?
I've already ordered it and it's on its way 50ml for 30 bucks, I'm hoping I don't have to add flavor or terpenes because the quality of my bho should keep its terpenes but we will see.

Used ejmix as my first emulsifier maybe 2 years ago. I was mainly doing qwizo runs and a few small blasts. It definitely works and does not seperate. It just has an aftertaste to it. Possibly from the peg 200,300, etc.
I now use a product called Extract soulutions original flavor. PG only and a "natural emulsifier". I'ved used it for qwizo,qwet,bho and now rosin. Similiar to wax liquidizer previously mentioned. The product really lets the taste of your extract shine.
I've used a few other brands that have oeg in them and I don't care for them.
Carts used play an important role in taste also. I used to use the cheap .5ml and 1ml cotton wick carts,but have upgraded to some ceramic double coil carts.

Reading the one star reviews it seems to be a common problem with ej mix...

Looking into MCT Oil, any thoughts?

I've had similar experiences when using ejmix a few years ago. IMO it's the Peg in the mix. The taste and that dark brown color after 15+ hits, no matter how low the temp.

My apologies, I am u certain what you mean by filtering. Do you mean during extraction?
With rosin I use the rosin bags. I also winterize my other extracts when using a solvent.

How do you get majority of fats and lipids out of your concentrates ? Are you purchasing your concentrates or are you making them yourself

ahhh gotcha, I winterize my extracts. Have been doing so with rosin also...lately.

I use the PTFE, shit is expensive as fuck but you can reuse the same piece a few times.
The shatter was pretty pure, run at 95° for 20 hr's on full vacuum after the initial low temp water bath.View attachment 4219910


So your starting oil was mixed with everclear or something similar And then just evaporated off to make the distillate right?

Maybe I don't even have to buy the liquidizer and just add drops of terps after I turn it into distallate.

My next wash will consist of 6.5lbs trim, 2.25lbs flower. Guessing on prior yields. 1.5lbs trim yields 75g clean crude to run. I should be able to pull at the very least 55-60g of distillate from 75g of crude. As long as i properly wash it at -40c temps to keep the bad stuff out of my extract.

I have a few write ups on another site, and its not on the scam-farm either. Just google my screen name. There is ONLY 1 demontrich. As there only enough room for this 1 asshole in this world.

I only use 200 proof food grade, kosher, pure NON-denatured ethanol ONLY. I never use denatured ethanol. Sure you can/may be able to distill all the heptane and other nasty, but why waste 1.5hrs to save 100.00.

I keet 10 gallons on hand.

Right now I'm just trying to clean up my oil shatter with an electric skillet lmao


I might just try this vapuer Clear product comes with filter and says it dewaxes the oil itself, I dont believe there's alot of fats and lipids because I kept my equipment pretty cold while blasting and screened through 2 screens a 150 and a 75 but all I know is what I've learned in here.
