all thes new informations :)))

This is just a treath to help me and maybe other to make there decision, what led sorce to chose .
What would you do,or what do you do;)

The space ist Classic, 3×3 and almost 7 high.


Cobs;
-9× luminux cxm32 3500k
-9× heatsink
-1-2led driver meanwell

QB ;
-4× Quantum board qb288 v2 (driver each +-80w)
-1-2× driver?
-2-4heatsinks

Strips ;
-54 ×Samsung series H (h282d) lm301b
(54 strips each at 240-300mA= 5.3-6.7w/total 290-361w)
-Driver(s)?



There is Not a big cost dif. (Can be done around 400$)


I just need to find out what driver i need.

I recommend one Mars reflector 960W led to cover your 3'x3' grow size. It is powerful enough, their spectrum are very efficient for the bloom

H-series strip have LM561c diodes. You need H-influx or Q-series strips to get LM301b. For a 3x 3' area you could use 1ft and 2ft strips in series because Q series run all with same amps, only the voltage is different(11v, 21,6v and 43,2v for the 4footers but these are too long). Each pair would need ~33-36v and you could use a HLG-320H-36A to connect lets say 10 pairs in parallel on one HLG-320 driver. Each strip would run near its maximum current(~890mA, max. is 900). If you like it more efficient you can simply connect more pairs in parallel. With 20 pairs each pair would run with only 445mA and you get the lumen/w output from Q-series datasheet. (198lm/w in 3500°k).

Nice plant but you can get the same or better plants with half the wattage using efficient LED lights. They grow nice weed of course but I bet your dry weight is below 1,2g/w. With really efficient LEDs you can see results with up to 1,8g/w. For this reasons they are outdated today and you can get them pretty cheap.
Do yourself a favor and try something with more performance next time. A single 135w Quantumboard288v2 kit incl. heatsink and driver is pretty cheap and results above 200g are common with such kits in a 2x 2' tent. 4 of them cover already a 4x 4' area and are use to replace a 1000w HPS.

I cant find the Q serie :( But i still try.

Ok i found the h influx serie, Thats a Game changer for me 1foot strips 13-14$ 2" 24-25$
Thats Money that i dont have right now.
So the strip lm301b Option is of the table for at least the Next year.


Can you tell me what you would do with my budget(max400$) and my space.
Everytime i think i've got it, i missed somthing

That's all 12 available Q-series strips. Cost only half the costs of H-influx but H-influx can run much harder. Heatsinks are not cheap and I would rather recommend to use more diodes.
You can also use Bridgelux EBgen2 series, 175-180lm/w at nominal current.

But there is not really a difference apart from diode count and wattage. Both use LM301b so I would choosed whatever works out cheaper for you in the end.

I have looked for the pries.

H influx 1"" have 64 diods 13$
Ans 3700lm from Data shed
Q-series 1"" 20 diods 6$

With thes h influx 1"" ×18 would give me almost 1200 diods. Can i run each 1" H influx in 1A with 22,3v
I would have 22w each 1"" . Sound a lot

Yeah, you need two Q-series strips to beat one double row H-influx strip. But with 20 H-influx you would get the 10pcs digikey price with 40pcs Q series you could get the 25pcs price which would be a little cheaper. Especially on a tight budget it could help you to keep the costs in check. You could also use 3pcs 1footers per row instead of a 1 and a 2ft strip. The more you take the cheaper they get.
Maybe its also worth to look at arrow.com (search by part-number), sometimes they offer good discounts or put products on sale. Got my 20 F-strips with a 20% discount last year.
