ones talking about growing
What I think is that people have been hiding it for so that they haven't quite got the hang whats going on. When Oklahoma went wet (liquor) was I think about 1958, or there abouts, I remember a news reported on the street in front of a "package store" watching a man come out holding his (probably) first legal bottle under his coat and walking to his pickup where he put it behind his seat. You will probably see about the same thing with pot.

At any rate, tomorrow my doctor is going to send my application in. Day after tomorrow I order my seeds.

My garden won't be ready by spring so I be planting in 7 gal. smart pots. Maybe with Fox Farms Ocean or supersoil. I have both.

If you look at OMMA's numbers, there are currently about 3000 patient, 690 growers, 190 processors, and 495 dispensary lic's that have been applied for. Not sure how thats going to pan out.

There will probably be a lot more patients as soon as they get the laws all together, but my money for growing as a business is staying in my pocket. Those are suicide odds.
Disheartening for sure. But out of 690 growers, processors, and dispensaries, we were among the first 100 commercial to get licensed. What does that mean?... Im not really sure, .. that's a shit ton of Commercial to Patient ratio. I guess we'll sit back and watch. Growing as we speak.

I'm not too much for sitting around and letting others pass me up, but it would have to be done right. Take for instance "420 Central" in Santa Anna(?), California. I don't know how they ended up with an address like that, but it sure gave them a big nudge towards success. If you haven't seen it maybe look them up on the web. The way it is now I wouldn't touch anything commercial with a GOOD business adviser and a really good plan. Just being able to grow grow weed isn't going to be enough with all the competition.

I just harvested a small plant yesterday and dried a couple of buds in the dehydrator. That ended a long, long dry period. It sure was nice. Two little hits and I was off some place else.

I an building a lot of compost. In the long run I'm looking for six 200 gal. (maybe 100 to start with) smart pots. but that won't be ready by spring so it will just be the 7 gallon ones from this year. The space is here, there's plenty of grass clippings, old hay, leaves, manure, and whatever. All I have to do is gather it up. Got plenty of suppersoil nutes, and I am looking forward to my first legal, and really good, grow. Why not?

Well, we had the resources to start a 20x30 building inside of another building. If it all goes to shit (the market) we can at least break even and have some fun at the same time. .... or turn it into a ManCave. But I think the initial market will be strong, we have Dispensaries on the hook and waiting for product. Next year may be a different story. There will be a glut of weed on the market. We shall see.
