I can talk about #1,8 and 6.

Maybe add neropathy to your list, it's a good candidate for treatment. Same with people reducing dependency on prescription opates.

Ok,. I had intense chemo treatments, and ingesting high THC strains during treatment was a bad thing. Nausea, and the feeling of being sick dominated.. So avoid over ripe bud with high CBN/amber tricomes is my thinking. High CBD strains a good thing for cancer and chemo.

For alcohol, heavy indica/narcotic strains, that have a happy chatty buzz before the body stone kicks in. I love Bubblelicious hash. Also CBD strains relax like alcohol for me

Super high THC strains for sleep and night time neropathy. Hash smoking and edibles is my bedtime routine. Purple Kush is a good strain example.

My big discovery is using CBD strains as a way to get more THC into my system.

CBD heavy daytime's and THC heavy nights.

Chatty happy weed that makes you forget you have a broken body, is good for many ailments.

Pot got me off a phelethra of prescription narcotics quicky and without so much discomfort.

I'm working on breeding a strain especially for my wife's migraines. So far, Granddaddy Purple has given the best results, so I'm using "purple" as a guide on the theory that something connected to purple pigmentation might be the chemical that alleviates migraine pain. I'm growing a few plants that have GDP as their "grandparents" and I'm going to try crossing other "purple" strains with GDP to see if I can get a strain that works better.

The main "problem" with GDP is that it does not work on every kind of migraine. My wife says she gets several different versions of migraine, and GDP is great for one of them that she gets pretty often. The other drawback is that GDP will get anyone really stoned, too stoned to work or drive, probably, but that still beats the hell out of a splitting headache.

My wife goes to specialists and takes a bunch of prescription meds for the migraines, but the results are kind of hit-and-miss. The GDP seems to "work" just about every time.

try some of bodhi's black triangle, & bad dawg genetics starfighter crosses. those work for my warden, the va gives her all kinds of shit pill wise for extreme migraines(ex army). i also let a lot of gear go past its date for her to make it more sedating. plus edibles work great also. she uses the plenty & pax 2 to deliver relief.

My brother-in-law has really bad headaches. It's the kind they call "the suicide headaches". This is what he does, and the ONLY thing that helps.

He uses Jack Herer two ways. What he has been doing until lately is smoke a joint every couple of hours. Now I don't know how much he does smoke but he has found out that what really helps (I think maybe the most) is he loads capsules with raw, ground up, whole live plant matter. (Just leaves and bud.) No other strain seems to help him.

I don't know how of often he takes the capsules but I can find out If you are interested. I do know that if he doesn't take them or smoke the Jack his head aches so bad that I have seen him cry. Not the thing you would expect from him.

Like I said, The only strain he has found that will help is Jack Herer. The trouble is that there are so many oils and turpens in varying amounts in each strain that you don't really know which one or combination is helping.

I'm glad your brother-in-law found out that Jack Herer works. "Different strains for different pains," I guess.

Even after you've found the "right" strain, it can be further complicated by the fact that not every crop is going to be harvested after the same number of days of flowering. My wife had a headache just last night that was somewhat helped by some GDP that I harvested back in May. But I also let some of the flowers stay on the plants about three weeks longer, just to see how the effects changed. And in this one instance, the late-harvested GDP seemed to help a little more than the earlier flowers.

It's odd because I remember as a kid, I'd get a lot of headaches, but now as I'm pushing 60, I only experience one or two a year, it seems. I would have thought it would get a lot worse with age. I guess I'm lucky, but other people obviously are not.
