Hey guys. Seeing as the season getting closer im going to start preparing for an outdoor grow this year.

Im wondering if any of you guys have used coco for outdoors. I want to have them in pots in the backyard and water with a hydro solution twice daily or so.

That should work, should it not?

As long as you can keep them moist and prevent salt buildup it should be fine @Venus55 did a couple last season in coco.
Pot size is the big issue with coco once you get deeper than 300mm the top dries out but the bottom is still wet so your moisture content is really uneven, smallish size pots and some sort of automated watering system like drippers or blumats would be the way to go if possible

The coco thing I wouldn't mind giving a go as I could very easily set up an automated watering system from my rain water tank.
It's only situated 4 metres from where my plants normally are
Cos I normally only do 2 in my back yard I go for quality first but still need yield to the me over for the following 12 mths smoke so coco is prob out for me as I normally have both in the ground or at least one in a 60 litre fabric pot.
One day I'll try coco...but that will prob be the season I fuck my plants up.and I'm having a gd run the past 7 or so yrs

Fuck me its hot!! It’s 28.6 in the shade and riding.
I foresee mold, high humidity and an array of sap sucking pests in my near future! ;(

If your doing large full season plants outdoors I can’t see any advantage of doing them in coco but there’s a ton of disadvantages i reckon
