that nothing wait till next month!every yr gets wetter an wetter iam pretty much done with full season after this yr my depos r kicking ass, plus I can run any thing I want without the worry of rot
I remember a few years ago the swamp i have out back and the creeks around here use to be nearly bone dry by now. It wouldn't start raining hard until mid Sept to early october. For the past 3-4 years everything has been soaking wet July-october. I wonder if it's a some sort of change of weather pattern or something related to global warming. Either way it sucks and makes growing without a greenhouse around here near impossible.

Yea, last year was the first year I grew anything ever. It was brutal. I really hope we have an easy fall this year.

Isnt there a farmers almanac or something we can consult to have an idea what's coming?

Pick up a bender from Greenhouse Megastore, and d/l a bending pattern, the pipe is fairly cheap or pickup some 1" pvc and do a hoop greenhouse, but the steel frame is the way to go,rock solid. Not $250 cheap, that's a great deal Thumper. That looks great, what size sheet did you get to cover that?

If you can figure out a way to send some of that rain, we'd sure appreciate it, those hippies need a bath.
Haha, the first hippies I saw, Mom screamed and rolled all the windows up, I rolled one down to smell them. They seemed OK, Moms really over react, more screaming when i stuck my head out and said, "hey, they don't stink"

I went to san Diego a couple months back. Beautiful weather and people but I definitely missed all the trees and green foliage my state has. Amazed at all the homeless people i saw, definitely not use to that coming from a small town. Good food, beer, and weed though :bigjoint:

It's sad. Downtown San Diego at night, the homeless just line the streets. LA is bad too. This is a really easy state to fall between the cracks in, lots of people here are one paycheck away from that lifestyle.

Damn yeah i remember going to balboa park and wandering over to the edge along a fence line to smoke. I looked up and saw an entire hillside covered top to bottom with tents and tarps and trash with probably 100+ people living their. Sad for sure.

Yup. And in my experience, everyone thinks everyone else is all set. When in reality, they arent. I see it literally everyday. I run a financial planning practice, and most people are terrified of money and because of that they are willfulling ignorant on saving and investing.

It can be super depressing for some guys when you try to help people who just wont take the life preserver you are throwing.

Time is the biggie. Start young and if you are working when you're 70, it will be because you want to, not because you have to.
