reuse soil many times ?

Grow indoors with Fox Farm potting soil. Good stuff !. Can I continue to reuse soil, if so how many times would be recommended. Keep in mind some additional soil mix would be added for next crop and nutrients are added with each grow. Would appreciate any input, thanks.

I always reuse my soil. If you think about it the earth is pretty old. You just gotta find soil amendments your happy with to recharge the soil

reusing soil is what i do when i grow. I just mix it all back up into one big pile and refill all the pot again and its ready to go.

Soil never goes bad just inactive. Recycle it forever and ever. Recharge it with some compost and soil amendments; keep it hydrated and it will be good to go for another cycle. Your soil actually gets better every time you do this. Add in worm castings, lime, and maybe some kelp meal (among many other inputs if desired) and let it set for a month to normalize the PH. You can also add in any plant trimmings or leaves from harvesting; cannabis plant material breaks down fast in active soil and contains everything a cannabis plant needs. Usually adding a lot of organic matter drops the ph slightly; letting it sit for awhile allows microbes in the compost to do their thing. Some call this "cooking" the soil.

I also crumble and add all my leaf to the soil after harvest. All this advise is spot on, the kelp meal castings etc are all great.

If you have a lot built up, like 200 gallons of dirt, I'll add a whole bottle of alaska brand liquid fish and turn it for several months whenever I've got the time. Makes it amazing, better than when you first buy the bag.

Very easy to make used soil great again.
Add 1/2 cup of each of these per cubic foot (7.5 Gallons) soil. Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Fish Meal, Crab Meal, Oyster Shell Flower. Add about 1 Gallon of EWC to the Cubic Foot pile you just reamended. Some Glacial Rock Dust, Rock Phosphate and Neem Seed Meal if possible too.

This is excellent advice. "What you eat you are" never applied more.

Feed soil, not peat but soil, and it will feed the plant. I had an organic garden and couljd grow anything even in the New Mexico desert. Supply a bit of shade and water. Forget fertilizers that accumulate, leach and burn.
