. . . . . . . . .but she really already exhibited auto traits...

no chance to reveg and get clones, huh?
I'll try busting off a few more next year at the same time to see if they will early flower again. Plus I will try them in a Fall/Winter test also. Will be some breeding opportunities then.

And no, no chance of reveg and clones. I don't do anything weed related at the house, to preserve the domestic tranquility. And my veg buddy was getting cold feet over vegging the few we just got out.

. I like to play around with auto genetics. I cross a male photo over female auto. They still flower like autos if you plant them at the beginning of the outdoor season. but if you grew them indoors under 24 hours of light they will not flower. I made a cross of auto white widow xxl x panama,Malawi. Was about 2 weeks to harvest seeds and someone stile the plant. Crossing a mephisto auto female over a indica photo female will give you a very early flowering strain .
Anytime anyone starts talking about breeding semiautomatics or growing autos outdoor, someone will say, "you need to talk to bobqp."

I hate it your plant got swiped. Sounds like it would have been a good cross.

Lol
I swear it was this big.

No really I feel like a noob trying to guess what she might yield. She's about 7 ft across now, definitely will be my biggest ever. Two more not far behind her.
So hard to predict Ive had similar size plants yeild drastically different amounts..... She is a beauty

what ya growin? Being in Vermont and having such a short moldy season my strains are limited....curious what others have luck growing to finish without bud mold.
The good;

My buddy who made the Ass Cheese {cindy's blue cheese X donkey kong} lives in Oregon, and he bought those two strains due to his location. My weather isn't the same, but I've had lots of rain when there are plants flowering. The AC has done good compared to other strains I'm running.

The bad;

Poly Shunk 1 {triangle kush cookies x nightcap x shit/skunk} is a great indoor strain, but both the mother, and now the f2 daughter is having issues with Florida's rainy summers. Might be something to do with the whole starting to flower in June thing. I need to time when they go out so they don't start to flower until the dog days of summer are over.

The ugly:

I have a cross of two old local strains that I called Jack Carlos Cross. {from the two growers} It leans pretty heavy to the Sativa side of the isle. Tall and lanky with small, sweet smelling buds. I grew out a bunch of them, and CP1 {Chicken Pen 1, ie the tallest plant in the Chicken Pen Patch when they started to flower} seemed to rise to the top, so I've used it in two or three crosses with shorter, thicker strains. They are beefier than the CP1, and not as many rot problems. I still want to run some of the other Jack Carlos Cross crosses and cross some of them with the Poly Shunk strains.

Wow I always admired people who breed shit and play with crossing, I always grab some seeds and clone them or I've tried like 5 autos
Especially with mold issues, I like tried and tested strains.... indoor is different.
This year outside I tried
Peyote cookies
LSD
for mold resistance
Black Dog
Candy kush
Pineapple Express
Pineapple chunk
For quick finish time...we sometimes frost hard in September and weather before that is perfect for mold growth. So anything more than 8 weeks is a huge gamble.
I also threw in some Deisel MOB from Maine honest herb company just to try it hope it finishes in on time?

I've harvested monster buds and had to cut them into baby buds just to stop the mold from taking all my shit, some years lost lbs to mold, or harvest early due to weather even on early strains. Here is to a warm dry fall
