You got to be one crazy fool to try and make a living off cannabis in some countries. I'd flip burgers for the rest of my life before risking my life.
Its better than risk my life with dealers , (if my love to cannabis consider as crime then been far from it is the real banishment to me) Hmanco 2018

I'm not talking about growing for personal use. I'm speaking of those that talk of growing and selling in countries with strict laws because the price of cannabis is so high. I doubt you'll get caught growing a couple plants. Grow enough to sell and then selling it opens up significant risk to your freedom and life. Risk I wouldn't be willing to take. I have been growing for decades yet I've never sold because I didn't want to risk my freedom. Even twenty years ago in Oregon all they would do is yank your plants if you got caught with just a few. I know several people that got caught growing large scale and selling that ended up doing five years or more in prison. In the late eighties we were having a keg and the cops showed up and came into my friends house. He had three plants under fluorescent lights. Cops just pulled them up and ripped them up. They've never really cared until you cross that line from personal to selling.

I know that to be stealthy while growing cannabis
1) don't tell
2) don't sell
3) don't smell
The only problem to me is the smell :weed:
About those whoes sell they will never end up untill the whole world legalizing cannabis and control this kind of business

things will change when that huge surplus either rots or finally gets sold. by then, most of the dreamers that moved out there to get rich growing weed will have woken up and gotten jobs, moved back where they came from...the market will normalize. the big companies aren't going to be happy selling 1.00 grams...they got into this to make money....they'll manipulate the market, and the rules, till all the small growers are squeezed out. then the price will go up to where they want it to be, and i'll be there, selling better weed for less

That huge surplus will likely get larger before it gets smaller. Lots of large indoor grows going and the outdoor harvest is a couple months away. I also think the amount of the surplus in under reported. Then there are people like me sitting on all we need for personal and have no need to buy. Tens of thousands of people growing their four plant limit or more. None of that is included in the surplus.

there can't be a lot of people stupid enough to be racking up huge electric bills to grow more weed they can't sell for enough to pay the electric bill with........even if there are, the electric companies will cut them off when they don't get paid.
people harvesting will have few places to sell it....they'll end up in the same situation. if any of them have any sense, they'll reduce their crops to concentrates, and take it back to where they came from and sell it there. there's no way they can be paying the bills, buying nutes, paying for electricity, paying the water bill....eating, paying rent.....

Am growing 9 plants but am sure the harvest result gonna be half of what pro grower of 1 plant can be , the number of plants is a wierd way to judge ,specially in my case where hermie dominated my grow room :wall:

I'm referring to people like me that grow our own and are not concerned about electricity and don't sell. Many people still grow outside as well. Most of us do not buy from a dispensary and will have no effect on reducing that surplus. I know one guy that has four plants growing at six or seven different locations. He splits the weed with the people that let him grow. Since the surplus needs to be sold in Oregon and so many Oregonians are growing their own, that surplus is not likely to go anywhere but up for the foreseeable future. Half the people on my street are growing their legal limit. It's likely the same all across Portland. I just don't see where all that surplus is going to get sold. That's why the price is plummeting. This years outdoor crop from southern Oregon is going to be huge. The glut will just keep getting bigger. And more people are growing their own. You don't have that problem in Washington state across the river because they do not allow recreational growing. Just medicinal.

You don't have to be a professional grower to grow enough for yourself. Not everyone grows to sell. I don't know anyone in Portland that grows to sell. I helped a friend get setup. He's never grown in his life. He ended up harvesting almost half a pound off his first grow. Needless to say he won't be a customer of anyone. Legal or black market.

I'll bet if i bought one of those $80 ounces I'd be selling it for $60 if I didn't enjoy smoking it. People tell me all the time that our dispensery weed is nowhere near as good as my stuff. Conneseurs will have to know a grower to get quality weed; not all the time but at least half of the time. I'm not worried about competing on quality. I am worried that consumers will lower their standards and not care what they smoke; like coors light and miller light drinkers.

i heard captagon is really popular around there and extremely easy to produce... but i can't find a synthesis anywhere

i've tried quite a few of the canadian 'discount' weed and it's all garbage. i've tried $4 grams, $2 grams, $99 ounces, etc and not ONE of them would i smoke.. i made them all in to oil becaus they were trash... like not even mids.. my very first harvest was 100x better than any of them

tried budget buds, faircannacare, cannazon, weeds, and a few other places
Hey LegalCanada, was wondering what kind of prices you get for pounds of what you consider good stuff and if you're close by the ontario area!
