Hermaphrodite?

Hi,
First time poster. I am relatively new to growing.
I have a Dinafem Dinamed CBD Strain (40% Indica 60% Sativa) (Cannot post link as not enough posts but you can google the name to get strain details) as one of the 3 plants I am growing (2 other medical strains)
The plants have grown really well and I am 14 days into flowering. I noticed yesterday on the top of the Dinamed that the some of the buds (at the top of the plant) have bulbs that I am concerned could indicate a hermaphrodite. Obviously since I am new to growing my only point of comparison is the internet and the two other plants I have growing.

Can anyone advise?

Need a more focused picture #2, but usually u should see balls dangling from the nodes. Or from the buds “bananas” little yellow ding dongs

Is that any better?
I dont see anything hanging on the nodes.

Edit: I discovered growdiaries (fantastic resource) I looked at other peoples pictures of the same strain and mine looks similar. Very hopeful here that this is not a hermie

looks like it could be a male. I don't see any hairs so far. Need a more close up picture to be sure though.

from the looks of it, yes it's look like it's starting.......another way you can really tell is look at the hair's itself....they'll start turning white while also giving u banana's

there is a classic hermie thread you can look at too, for comparison as well

Thank you for the warm welcome.
Is waiting until the bananas form leaving it too long?

Iam guessing safest option is to shred the plant? I can make arthritis cream or gummies.

Honestly not bent out of shape if that's solution. My first grow and I have 3plants in a tight 2'x4' space. Didn't account for how wide the plants got.

not necessarily, I finish the one I had outside. Just to keep it away from the other plants I've grown out in my space. U can ck it, it's the hermie thread I mentioned.

nice start BTW

Found the hermie thread (didnt realize it was in your signature).
The pictures in your hermie thread dont seem to line up with what I am seeing. I now see why you referred me to the thread as it damn hard to compare off my photographs. I compared with other Dinamed CBD photos (included below) and I may be ok.

I am willing to wait a little longer and see how it goes. Outdoor medical growing is not permitted where Iam so cant move it outside.

yeah i started that one so that other grower can see what a hermie looks like and possiblility of what you can do with one as well........

in my research each pheno is different in the hermie situation, but the picture do give you and idea of what to look for.

you might be, just be aware of it, time will tell......

if it is, consider moving away from the grow you currently have, this way it won't pollinate the rest of the group....each situation is different...

Ill keep an eye on it and try to get the best picture I can if it turns to be a hermie. It is a shame as I have a USB microscope on order and could get some really good images that show the morphology.

BudmanTX: If I do have a hermie do you mind if I throw the hermie picks in your thread?

Excited to get a harvest :) I have a chemistry background so have some cool plans on the medical side. Been playing around with a cream formulation for my father in law who has sciatica.

Ok managed to get better pictures using a microscope app. There are a few brow patches where I tried removing the ball to try and get a better look under microscope.

For me taking the plant to another location isnt viable (legal and light issues outside).

Can I just cut off the male looking parts? It is only the top of 3 flowers that has this issue. I would loose 1cm bud on each site. The loss is not a concern but would not want stress the plant into veg.

Final concern (know separate issue) I have 3 plants in the tent. Is this too many for this type of tent?

Was still thinking cutting off the tip of 2-3 bud. Do you think this would work or would I stress the plant out more?
don't, then u will have a tail spin, just try to catch those pollen sacks as they come. you also need to consider if it it, and or does, what are u gonna so with it, so that way it won't ruin the rest of the grow...

as for how many plants in the size tent.....in my dealings i always thought there was a relationship between the size of the pot, and the size of the plant, so that's something to consider on further grows....

right now your the caretaker of the plant, just keep it happy and let her do her thing.....

Thanks for the advice. Always hard to leave things alone. Future grows I will probably stick to 2 plants and go with 5 gallon pots.

What is interesting so far is that I havent noticed any of them open up with pollen sacks (as of yet). One of them also appeared to have something that looks like calyxes coming from it.

For now will take your advice and keep the plant happy and wait and see what happens.

yep, look the hairs in the first picture they're white.....she hermed on you.....now you have a choice to make, let her finish since she's in flower or destroy her.......

I was lucky I had the ability to keep her going, in your case .....well lets just say you have a decision to make...

remember you don't want to let the rest of the crop get hit with the pollen, so your early.......you can try to pluck them off as you find them of course to keep her

time will tell mate...let me know...

She is my least valued of my three plants. I will sacrifice her for the good of the rest. Gives me a chance to practice drying technique.

Am I likely to see significant seeds in the other two plants?

Edit: Sorry for multiple posts.
I looked at another plant and wanted to confirm it is female. The flowers growing from side have two pistils growing from each. Am I right?

I will put these photos in your hermie thread because I learnt a lot from it and from yourself BudmanTx
