Pretty new here. This will be my second attempt growing in the greenhouse. Last year I tried a GSC photo from reg seed that was given to me from a friend who got it from Colorado. It grew 7' tall and got mold problems 3/4 of the way through flower. I had no fan in the greenhouse either. I decided to try some auto strains this year to harvest earlier to avoid the cold and wet falls we have here in southern ohio. I love sativa also. I went all sativa dominant.

I cut a solo cup in half and cut a drain hole. I placed that cup in another solo cup for easy transplant. My greenhouse was not ready is why I chose to do this method.

I dug 3 holes that were approx 18"×18" and filled 1/3 of the bottom with super soil that had been cooking since November. (Mix was bought off ebay, mixed with 1/2 FF Happy Frog, 1/2 mycorrhizae, and some worm castings.) Filled the top 2/3 with 1/2 happy frog and 1/2 myco. I then top dressed the hole area with about 1/3 rabbit poop and 2/3 cow manure compost bought in bags from wal mart, about 2" thick.

Here are my babies.

All seeds were acquired from seedsman. I purchased 3 amnesia and 3 white sirius, and got 11 free seeds total. The Dinafem was a freebie. = )

What do you guys think. Any advice would be appreciated. I am going to add a fan here soon. Thinking about getting the tower oscillating ones, or do you think the round ones will do? If I could find fans and build a frame, and attach it to the greenhouse wall in the back for exhaust, that would be more optimal. I have six 12"×18" screened windows for passive intake that I can close, but I never do. Lol

Just transplanted the cheese xxl. Could have went a few days longer I believe. The other white sirius has about a week, and amnesia about 2. Going to get the fan tomorrow.

Thx man, and welcome!

Update on my soil. Here is the contents of my soil I am running. I posted some wrong info in the first post.

  • .625 lb. Fish Bone Meal 3-16-0
  • .625 lb. Bat Guano 0-7-0
  • .625 lb. Blood Meal 13-0-0
  • .375 lb. Rock Phosphate
  • 3/32 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/16 cup Sweet Lime (Dolomite)
  • 1/16 cup Azomite (67 Trace Elements)
  • 1/16 cup Kelp Powder 0-0-17
  • 1/16 cup Mycorrhizal Fungi (300 spores per gram)
  • 3/4 tsp. Powdered Humic Acid 90% Pure
I mixed it with 1.5cf of half FF Happy Frog and half Cyco Coco and some ewc. Cooked it for a few months. Only 1/3 of bottom is super soil. The rest of the base is the half happy frog half cyco coco.

Ive got some autos going right now... View attachment 4152045
Those look nice! I have a 2.5×2.5 tent I'm going to set up soon. My light will consist of 10 of the eb gen 2 at 3500k, and a Blurple. Once I make a run or 2 I will ditch the Blurple and add in some Vesta series, and use the 5000k 90 cri for veg, and a mix of 3500k 80cr and 2700k 90 cri for flower. = D

Hopefully all mine turn out to be auto lol. They are longer running strains, but outside here it's really hard to harvest in the fall, and i love sativa.

I finally got my fan installed in the greenhouse. I'll do an update later today.

The cheese xxl seems to be taking the transplant pretty well. I did lose some of the dirt due to the fact my seedling soil doesn't have adequate drainage. It has dry spots. I'll add some pearlite in the next time to get thorough watering and more even root growth. She stalled a little in growing, but seems to be starting again.

White serious is coming along nicely.

And so is the amnesia

All the plants seem to have a little heat stress. We are having mid 90's. Here for a high. Just turning the fan off for a minute to take pics I notice a good bit of difference in temp. I cracked the door a little for better air flow.

Here is an update. I missed the last update because I couldn't upload pics. The soil I had was really light on nutes. They had deficiencies, combined with a lot of rain, and high heat. I got some espoma, and water with blackstrap molasses. They are doing a lot better now. Just really stunted.

The cheese xxl lost all her fan leaves, she is frosting up pretty nice though. Might get a few grams off her.

The white sirius auto is the shortest one, but the buds are developing quite nice.

0713182110.jpg 0713182110a.jpg

The amnesia auto is the furthest along with a lot of frost, and the most buds.

Another update. Strong winds knocked over my amnesia and the other 2 .Were leaning pretty good. It didn't phase them though. The solo cups are for size reference.

Dinafem is starting to form some good buds and get pretty frosty. The yield will probably be small, but it looks like really good bud.

The amnesia auto is the one .That fell completely over. It didn't seem to phase her though. Buds are forming nicely and lots of frost. Here's to hoping the dirt doesn't cause mold or any other problems.

Giving like 1/4 cup of espoma top dressed every two weeks. Water when needed with blackstrap molasses unsulphered.
