Need GB's advice

Hey GB, I know you custom built your own rosin press, I'm following green gene's instructions. Ordered cartridge heaters, once in February and once in April, still nothing. I have all the parts to make plates, pid and press, just need the damn heaters. Both times I ordered from Amazon.

I saw the adds that read WILL DELIVER IN 6 weeks:wall: but theyre cheap...
I did call one manufacturer here in Ontario who said they have them.......on his desk even..but he wanted 65 a piece??? WTF is he on.......... I said amazon has em for 6......he hung up lol must get these calls often.

so I kept on looking and found one sorta near....I ordered off a place here in Ontario ..who I thought were the manufacturers...lol just a friggin third party so I had to wait 10 days total and the ones I ordered off of amazon came two weeks later.
I have a set you are welcome to if you want I have two sets of plates but I can easily use the one set and get another pair ordered. they are 3 inches by 3/8 of an inch in dia......... They worked well for the 5 by 5 plates I had them in.
I have a set of smaller plates I use for 1/2 at a time rather than an OZ....you get more from less...even with the 20 ton..
which I never use to its full extent without blowing out bags and destroying parchment paper..
took me about a month to source parts and get it together...slowly
nice not having to purge meds....nice having the taste left as well. Only issue is that I have to decarb for ingesting .....which is done on the plates easily enough in a short time.
Lots of in active cannaniboids when pressing at low temps.

The cartridge heaters I ordered in February didn't come so I wrote to them and they said they would send another set, the ones I ordered in April Amazon expected delivery on May 17, just wondering if they will actually come or not because both senders are from China. At $6/set I'm not loosing anything but time. I have had all the parts and press for over a month now, just waiting for the heart beat of the operation to get here. It sucks that they took Green Gene's diy rosin press video off YouTube, I am building off his design. There is a thread on RIU that I can still follow but the video was kick-ass.

I have a set if you want..up to you
unless the size is different than you need or two isnt enough.

its simple really..
what do ya need to know?
INSTRUCTIONS are straight forward..
you set a temp
You set an alarm if need be..not needed
Once the plates heat up to that temp they stay there.
There is one function that keeps checking the temp of the plates to keep them constant,
forget it off hand..lol

maybe the @oddish @ornc208 could add their two cents worth (:

cartridge heaters are custom sized most times.
they should be around 250 watts each..and sized accordingly

I asked GB the other day what sage words of wisdom and advise he had for me..........
He said ...." dance mutha fucker, dance " .....and so I shall.
