His MO was to wait until the sub-contractors were just about though with a job, then tell them they had to take 75% of the agreed on price, or he would let the job go toes up and they would get nothing. Most were forced to take the smaller slice and put the squeeze on their own workers.

Many of my friends are in the trades. I tried to tell them this before the election. None would listen. They all said, "he might have screwed a few folks along the way, but he is paying attention to us."

i'm from jersey, i grew up watching this conman and clown fuck contractors my entire life

but people like OP are just too happy that he is normalizing racism to care that he fucks over people left and right

Trump has screwed over way more than a few folks. That guys track record in NY/NJ is terrible and full of f'd over people.

I realize that. And I'm sure most of my neighbors do too. Yet they still choose to support him. The working class poor are always open to a populist who tells them what they want to hear. I'm sure you all remember the Cross of Gold speech from your high school lessons. What is new is that he got all the way to the top. Most populist never make it near real power.

Based upon what you just said, I have a higher standard than you do when it comes to judging people..

Entitled white men don't have much at risk when they make mistakes and so they can afford to be wrong more often. It also lets them assume an air of superiority when they make decisions based upon too few facts.

Trump said what people wanted to hear. Also 8 years of Obama must have had something to do with it. Clinton too. There is very good research that show Trump attracted people who leaned toward racism and misogyny in a way that no other candidate R or D has in many decades.

Are all white men the same? You may be a better judge than me, I definitely feel uncomfortable judging groups of people. Character flaw I suppose.

I don't judge people based upon half a story I read on the internet. If you do then you have a low standard for judging people. It fits very nicely with your many statements about how little you care about people otherwise.
