Mega Crop for Coco?

Title sais it all. Can Mega Crop nutes be used for coco? Currently running Flora Trio and CaliMagic, have been using that for a few grows now but not terribly impressed but it's cheap.

Would MC work? Does it require anything else? Or is it just soil only?

Thanks.

Yes you can use mega crop for coco, you shouldn't need to add cal mag either but, different coco brands etc you just need to use a bit more stronger mix when or if your seeing a cal mag deficiency.
What's the ratio for mixing? I checked the site couldn't really understand but maybe I was a bit too baked

I’ve used it in hydro( rdwc ) and soil both were turned out excellent. It depends on the growers too. Anyone can suck or succeed with any nutrient.

Did you follow the feeding schedule from the site? or did you run your own.

I used this on a closet grow this winter in my DWC buckets-just followed the guide online and they thrived. I am switching over from my GH flora trio next year on the main grow. Good stuff.

using anywhere between 4.5-6g a gallon MC + 1-1.5g epsom salts per gallon, depends on if i see a mag def forming. comes out to where i need little, if any, adjusters to hit my ph range with my tap water. usually 5g MC + 1g epsom. give or take..

edit: running a few different strains with the same feed fwiw.

Cheers for all the feedback lads I'd tag you all if I could but it's greatly appreciated.

I'll give it a go, I just flipped to 12/12 and flushed cause I was getting calmag symptoms (I only get calmag spotting when I get salt from not flushing) so I figure now is a good time to try it out.

Generally flushing creates more problems than it fixes.
From everything I have seen and experienced in coco flushing is an absolute must. I flush every 6 feeds.

It's not a big flush, I run 1g of 24 hour old tap water phed and mixed with 5ml of calmag through my 5g pot. Gets all the salt buildup out then 2 days later I begin feeding again. Nothing to lose really, it's pure coco and perlite nothing else added.

Mega crop calls for 5 grams a gallon of water. I grow organic but decided to try megacrop out after receiving a large sample. It's good stuff. I don't use it as strong as suggested.

How will you be watering them in coco? If it's constant or frequent then I would suspect you could mix it weaker and work up.

i run 60/40 coco/perlite, hand watered. mega crop + tap water, no cal-mag and never had a def.

i start out at 5g/gal with seedlings and raise it every week or 2 and peak about 17g/gal by mid flower. just keep increasing it til you see a little tip burn then back off.
Thanks man. That's actually the same setup I run. Hey wait a minute.... I think I recognise you from GC too!

It did not work well for me in coco I know a couple other people in coco didn't like it but it seems to work great for a lot of people. It smells really bad and has crazy pH swings if you leave it in your res more than a day. Also if your running alot of light you have to use more than the recommended dosage.

Which brand of nutes are you currently using for your coco grow?
