People suffering from cancer already have availability to it by law. Is the law working as it should in that regard? No.

But in a Democracy people get to have a say on what they want. I don't want a controlled number of plants, which will slowly be reduced to zero over time as big pharma and govt get a monopoly of the market. I don't want to have to pay a licence fee and have inspections. I don't want red tape.

I sell my weed cheap as far as I’m concerned definitely not not way over priced.I’ve made and given away close to $10000 worth of oil this year to truely sick people that are being let down by our medical system and forced to find help from people like me that are trying our best to help.

Like Cali theres some really good brewers here. Top notch fish and chips were I am. Come visit!

Agree on the Fosters but the Fish and chips were I am are awesome. Gummy shark makes the best battered and fried fish.
Where are you?

My folks and I were on one of the first flights into Darwin after Typhoon Annie all but wiped the city off the map in 1972(?). We had to wait a few days to get a rental Ford to drive to Sydney, LMAO- Yanks that we were, we had no idea the line on the map did not show a paved highway!

Many adventures ensued in the Outback, with outsized speed bumps, land trains on dirt roads and mobs of 'roos figuring prominently among them. Suffice to say, the Hertz rental dealer in Townsville was unhappy with the condition of the car when we dropped it off!

The rest of the trip to Sydney was via bus. Lived there for about 6 months or so, then came back to the States around Christmas.

I'd love to come back for another visit. I'm sure the place has changed a bit in the nearly half century since I was there last...

That road is paved know and did have an unlimited speed limit until recently.
I'm on the little island once known as Van Demons land.

@ttystik and his legal problems are a classic example of why we should wait and do the process differently
No argument from me.

That said, I don't see how it can simply be legalised without a regulatory structure.

Part of the reason for my legal troubles are the throwbacks in the judiciary and law enforcement here who have to justify their position in spite of the fact that the citizens of our fair state have voted to legalise on every occasion they've been given the chance.

It's a battle but I'm going to win. And I'll enjoy making them look like fools along the way!

By the way it was probably Cyclone Tracey in 74, destroyed the place.
