Ghost Train Haze ready?

hi all -

First time with this strain. Seems to have been flowering 2.5-3 months already and plant is starting to show signs that she is at the end of her life cycle. Switched to just plain ph’d water to flush and she is hydro grown. Some leaves are yellowing and she looks mostly ready for chopping. That said, was wondering your guys thoughts (please see the pictures I’ve included!). Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!image.jpgimage.jpg

Hey man she looks like a decent plant I’d stay she still had at least another 2 weeks in her, there’s still a hell of a lot of white pistils still, I used to own a Lupe but I just go by the pistils roughly when 80-90% of them are receded and orange seems to be pretty optimal,
Is this your first grow?
And what hydro set up do u use?

Thanks for the input, almost cut her down! Added some nutes (bloom, base, and a little of the nitrogen). Simple hydro setup, first time. Just basically a bucket and air bubbler. Humidity 35-45% temp range 67-80, 300W LED. Noticing some leaves yellowing so worried a little that it will impact the buds, but figuring it is end of life cycle more than any nute difficiency.

Looks like you're getting there but still a good bit of straight white hairs it seems. Be easier to tell without the light on and frankly a 30-60x loupe to tell the trichomes. I'd probably give it another week or so if you aren't checking trics

I still cant tell with the loupe between white and clear really. Do these pictures help? Some hairs still sticking out but almost all are orange now. Im worried about the dying leaves but the bud looks good. Just dont want to chop her early.

At least a week , turning leaves don't mean much at this stage ... They will fade and be used up by plant ... Probably because you chose to run only water instead of feeding her .
You can feed up to end ... Just wind it down gradually.

Thanks, I fed her. Now parts of the bottom of the plant seem to be getting “crispy” and drying out. I am thinking of harvesting this weekend.

Get a 60 x loop for under $10 on Amazon, eBay or hydro store and check trichomes properly, you're going to have to buy one going forward anyway. If that were my plant I would Harvest it
-good luck!

If you don’t feel like buying a loupe, I’ve done the checking trichomes ect and it is the most precise way to tell but I’ve just got lazy I harvest when calyxs are swollen and the pistils are 70-80% orange and receaded into the buds and this is usually near on optimal, perfect smoke not to couch locky but not to buzzy nice and chill but still powerful enough to put you to bed! Best of luck with the harvest and drying brother
Also how are you planning on drying and curing?

So some of the stems towards the bottom are turning woody and as said above the leaves are crispy (pics show it). I know she has water though obviously, so I think this is just the end of her life cycle. The upper colas seem good though but leaves are browning. I was able to get some good shots of the trichomes! So definitely interested in your guy’s thoughts. Also - for drying thinking just hang in 70 degree 45% humidity or so and then cure in sealed jars with 65% packs.

Not trying to be funny but I think she starved to death.
Damn. Thing is she got fed earlier in week, that’s why i think just starting to die and kill off the bottom, but not sure. The top still looks pretty good vs bottom. Based on the trichomes, time to cut her down?
