Why would God act like such a troll?

As the story goes, God created the angels and after that, he created man (Adam). When he made Adam, he told the angels to bow to Adam. Satan was one of the angels and he didn't bow. God asked Satan why he didn't bow and Satan told God that since God made him from fire and Adam from dirt, that he shouldn't have to bow to Adam because Satan thought himself to be better than that.

Then God got angry and sent Satan out of Paradise. Satan was equally mad at God vowed to fuck with God's creations thereafter as much as possible.

Okay, so why would God knowingly allow a super-being like an archangel to mess with mankind? What possible chance do we have against such a foe? God must have understood that....and yet he allowed Satan to do all the shit that he did.

That would be like the equivalent of a baby fighting Superman. The baby doesn't even stand a chance.

Why couldn't God have made it more of a fair fight if he wanted to see a fight so much? Because it's pretty fucking obvious that God wanted to see a fight happen. sheesh!

Because none of it's real, and it has the flawed logic of the primitive goat herders that created it.
You sound to leetest for you own good.

Primitive is an alternate word for savage used by many of royality and the aristocracy...

And even more perplexing, if the Greeks didn't want no freaks, why did Poseidon allow horses to be drowned as a sacrifice in his temples? Fish going on the bonfires I can relate to. But horses? For the God of the Seas. Totally one of the strangest religious customs ever.

Well, at least in the last 4000 years.

Almost as weird as cutting hearts out of virgins in front of crowds of thousands...

I think it's all about people and what's in people's creation. People are just a blip on the geographic time scale. Eventually, for one reason or another, we won't be here anymore. We will go the way of the dinosaurs and all the other momentary lifeforms.

And, by the way, the dinosaurs were another one of God's troll jobs, too. If God made all those dinosaurs like he supposedly made us, then what does that tell you? It tells me that God seems to get tired of whatever toys he makes to play with, eventually trades them in for something else.

But yeah I always marvel at Old Testament stories and I'm happy they exist, because without them, there would be no metal bands. ;)

We could add the blood rituals of Bashan to that list I suppose ?

So I guess I'll hafta answer my own question, it's not that complicated and the simple answer is disobedience. (Do what thou wilst) God's kingdom is a hierarchy, kinda like the Army.

Disobey in the Army theres going to be repercussions, disobey God, bingo! same exact thing (only completely different). Satan disobeyed and cast Humanity into hard bondage, against God's will for his own profit. For context see Isaiah 13, 14
-good luck!:leaf:

The funny thing about God is.....He creates everything flawed and then punishes the flaws instead of improving them. Of course, there is no God, but just for the sake of discussion....

That's what I mean when I say the way we know God (from his own writings) is as a mean, old fucker who says, "You have free will to make your own choice...." But we are up against another super-being who can come between us and good decision making skills -Satan.

God could destroy Satan, but instead, he allows Satan to do whatever he can to tempt humans into making the wrong decisions...And when we do, then we get sent to Hell....forever.....as if it was all our fault.

And what about metal ill people who cannot make any rational decisions for themselves? Do they get a free pass to go to Heaven because they were mentally ill? How about Ted Bundy? He was mentally ill in a different kind of mentally ill way from, say, a Down's Syndrome person. So, did he get to go to Heaven? If Ted Bundy and a bunch of people like that get free passes into Heaven, then wow....troll!
