Outdoor Roof Grow in the Tropics

Hey guys. This is my first time posting. I've always got my knowledge from forums but after a few years of experience I feel like it's a good time to start sharing too.
Well I currently live in Cambodia so it's hot all year round. Sun everyday. Hot sun too. I've been growing for about 2 years now. But I want to be serious about this grow.
I'm no pro but these are my plants. I potted them today. Just using dirt that I get for about 1.25 for a bag. It's probably about a 5 pound bag. I don't use nutrients but only because I don't have access to those materials yet. So pretty much natural planting with the local bag seeds. But the seeds are from good buds so maybe I'll name them later haha. Well thanks guys for stopping by. I hope you guys enjoy these pics as much as i do. Stay lit.
I germinated these seeds in a cup of water for a couple days and then in some paper towel and a small ziplock bag. Put the ones that sprouted in the dirt today. I had a real random one sprout in some old dirt and I put it in a pot too. Feel like that's gonna be my lucky one haha.20180226_172417.jpg 20180226_173307.jpg

subbed, looking forward to your Cambodian bag weed grow...how was the high of the mother bud?
Hey Zero _OS thanks for stopping by and commenting. The mother bud was pretty good. Most plants out here are sativas but these seeds came from buds that had more of an indica effect. I enjoy getting stuck haha. Hopefully they come out more potent then their mothers and seedless!!!

Was busy with family members visiting and the birds got me. Lost 3 seedlings. But still have 2 for now. 20180304_064126.jpg

Had to make a little teepee to protect it from the birds. Bamboo and some old shadecloth. 20180304_110033.jpg

Found this one growing in one of my pots. I didn't plant it though. Probably was in the dirt already from some old seeds and finally decided to sprout haha. This one's directly under the sun for probably 12 hours a day. Its growing faster then the other sprouts already. Intense sun.1520137071155165721098.jpg

Welcome to RIU. We had a member who grew on his rooftop in SE Asia. Good thread. Might do you some good. He's not around anymore, but you can find out some of his tricks for growing in the tropics.

Good luck.

Netting is a must as far as birds are concerned. Those little fuckers will clean you out.

This is a picture of my previous plant. This seed sprouted on it's own and I did some lst on it. It was short and smelled like mangoes haha. 20180131_123239.jpg 20180131_122825.jpg

Well. Got some bad news. I decided to take off the shade cloth so the sprouts could get some good full on sun and yep. It didn't work out. The birds got me again. Dam it. It was only for a couple hours and man. Big mistake. Well I had to light up a fatty and cry about it a little but it's ok. Gonna go on a seed hunt. Have to call on all my fellow smokers to save their seeds haha. I'll keep you guys posted. I won't let this die now. I apologise for the let down.
