This is the 18th.

Perfectly gerrymandered (or gerrymurdered) to virtually guarantee a republican victory.

Except for 2 things.

1. Pa. Supreme Court (gerrymandering) has ordered the districts be redrawn, and the 18th will disappear at the end of the year.

2. And Connor Lamb.

Very conservative Democrat is running neck to neck with Rick Saccone in a district that went for Trump by 20 points.

There is very little contrast in this race. A liberal would get thumped. Period. The district is littered with closed steel mills, opioid addiction and petty crime.

And Saccone is backed by $13 million in PAC money. Connor Lamb raised $3 million.

The orange turd came in, tied up traffic into the city, and lied about Lamb being a liberal. Lol.

They obviously aren't buying it. Lamb seems honest, Saccone is a slick 'swamp' politician.

Both candidates support tarrifs. (Not that it will truly help, those closed mills were poorly managed companies that did not reinvest and everybody who worked there knows that.)

And the unions HATE Saccone as he consistently votes anti union.

I think the district will flip. But the leadership and congressional voting will be very similar.

But Trump wants Saccone to win sooo fucking bad. Better brace for impact, there's a huge change coming.

And I salute the Pa. Supreme Court!

This is the 7th district. We've been getting fucked with these districts for years.

This shit must stop. We stopped it here with a Democratic majority on the court.

Elections are important! Keep the courts fair. Good Luck Connor Lamb. I don't agree with him on everything, but he's honest and Trump doesn't like him. Good enough for me.

I lived in Idaho for about 10 years and know what it's like to hear the flushing sound when I cast my vote. All that to say, you have my respect and sympathy sir.

Also totally agree with you that candidates should represent the district's interests and values which in no way means that a person from your district can't come from the Democratic Party.

In your district and in every district, the Democratic principles of collective bargaining through unions, equal rights, affordable healthcare that is available to all, clean environment and so forth are better than the trickle down economics and divide and conquer policies of Republicans. Here's to showing the nation the truth of this on Tuesday night.

lamb is ahead in the latest poll, although an election like this is tough to poll.

the fact that trump won there by 20 and it's now competitive is a horrible sign for republicans. their party is now only racial resentment and trump. once trump is gone, it will only be racial resentment.

their pretense of being principled has been totally murdered forever by trump

Over or under

If Lamb loses, within x hours after the results are posted, either pad or tty will post something about shitty failing democrats must submit to their will.

I'll start the bet at x=24 hours.

Winner gets a deep french kiss from the willing person of their choosing.

Just saw 4 commercials in a row for Saccone. 4 in a fucking row.

Hopefully, he only wins the most commercials.

No shortage of money.
hmmm

sounds desperate.

When Sacchone loses I'm guessing that the penis of the person in charge of placing ads for the National Republican Congressional Committee will be on the menu in the White House during cocktail hour.

I'd place 6 in a row if I were him.

about 5000 votes left out there, 600 vote margin for lamb. so saccone needs those votes to go about 56-44 in his favor. the county they are coming in from is so far 57-43 saccone.

this might come down to single digits
