Where can I buy VIPARSPECTRA in mainland Europe?

A friend of mine started his grow with a 100cmx100cmx200cm Secret Jardin tent and bought with it a 600w LED lamp from VIPARSPECTRA. Mostly because most people recommended it, especially for this type of tent. I now can't seem to find any lamps being sold anymore by VIPARSPECTRA on amazon Deutschland. Or any other Amazon website. Nor can I find it on any other websites I've looked on so far. Does anybody know where I might still be able to buy Viparspectra lights or a LED lamp that would be good for a 100cmx100cmx200cm tent?

TL;DR I need a LED lamp for a 100cmx100cmx200cm tent that's available on a site that ships for a decent price to European Union countries.

You don't really want to invest your good money on a Viper. They scraping the bottom of the barrel along with Mars.
I had a real shitty time with a "Viparspectra 900 reflector series".
My 600w hps dimmed to 400w, really left no comparison.
Viparspectra's penetration is ABSOLUTELY shithouse.
Imho :bigjoint:

Most popular recomendation on riu would be easy diy with quantum boards: kits are basicly just screw in screws and connect wires. Unfortunently not very available in EU; you can try todogrowled, just google them.
Another recommensation might be these:

Same diode as quantumboards but a slightly different (maybe better) layout. You can run them without heatsinks up to about 1750 mA (about 90-100w), even more if you have a fan blowing air on them. You would need aprox 300w for that space but should be alright with 250w. Ive been in touch with the shop, they are serious and can help you find the right led DC driver.

Forget about Vipar, Mars and pretty much any of the multicolored led lights if you wanna grow decent. The light you quote is not 600w real output, maybe half, but with chips that give half the amount of light per watt in comparison to high efficiency white leds. well marketed light is not rhe same as a good light.

Approx cost of 250w build: 2 boards:160e meanwell led driver hlg240: maximum 100e
Screws, frame, shipping, a couple of fans: maybe 50e.
And youll have a light for the next 5years. Vipar: 2 years if your lucky, sone people on here had them break in 6 months.
Check out boards from europe thread here on riu for more info. @G84

Yes go with 250-300 quantum led if you can and for the same power(watt from the wall) as the vipar 600 you will get close to double the lights intensity (lm/w) which will result in much better yield. Then you can laugh at your friend, have him return his vipar and have him get the same set up as you :bigjoint:

Only if you know a little diy though.

20170705_213917.jpg this was a side by side I did with some blurples and some cobs/qb. The front left plant was in a smaller pot which is why it was so small but they aren't as drastic of a difference as people make them out to be. I am on white led now but still use the blurples for veg because I just think they are better for veg.

I agree with what youre saying in terms of any lights can grow.. at the end of the day if you can use half the watts for the same yield or the same watt for 50-100% more yield.. well to me it sounds like a big difference.. some has to do with growing skills too.. its not only about how they look but how much they weight at the end too. Thats what effiency is all about and when electricity is expensive ive seen some people paying over 0.25$/kw in my area its 0,09$/kw so its less of an issue but still the eaving over long term is pretty noticeable thats just my two cent

Yep, yep
I pay 27 cents kw here.
If i didnt use hps, id pay more to heat the space, than id pay for the light.
Efficiency wise it just doesnt make any sense. Grams per money spent really suffers.

As a fellow European, I have to side with the majority here and urge you to not buy the Viparspectra LED. I paid an arm and a half for my 260w quantum board kit and had them assemble and test it before shipping.

Im not gonna lie... With shipping and taxed i paid closer to 400 eur for the kit... But still worth every cent in my opinion.

Got the from https://growerslights.com/collections/horticulture-lighting-group-quantum-board-led-kits

But I saw HLG has European middlemen from spain, so maybe you can find a better deal there (and at least avoid import tax)

Viparspectra is Blurple junk. I'm fairly certain you can get Samsung F-Strips in Europe, no? Far, far better value.

Man people are so over the top with the blurple hate.... I got a little over 20oz from 5 auto's in 65 days with 2 "600w" blurples. Not crazy numbers but certainly not trash either. Again I would not recommend them over just about any other light but they aren't nearly as bad as everyone is making them out to be. They won't last as long but they are also very cheap so it can be a trade off if you are just getting started.

1gpw is doable both with blurple and hps. I got 0.9gpw with a marshydro 300 (130w) and I was happy with it and I am still suggesting people to get that 70usd panel as a start. But that's cause it costs 70usd or less! Paying more than a hps setup for a light that gives me the same result is a no sense.
