Harvesting multiple strains

Hello, I have four strains finishing up. 3 of the 4 will go all the way to day 70. The other will be ready day 60. What can I do to harvest it when I can only hang dry in the tent. Can’t have the house stinking up and the garage is too cold and damp. Don’t want the light to have a negative impact on the potency. TIA.

The tent it is ,drying it under lights is nothing new been done by many people ,if it's good it'll be good when it's dry

Could just wait and cut all together. Try to aviod direct light, and choose a cooler spot with good humidty.

In the past when I had less room I would just hang dry in the same flowering tent ABOVE the lights, always worked well, kept a perpetual going

View attachment 4100595 Get a large cardboard box and hang in that
The whole point is that they are concerned about smell. A cardboard box is not going to contain the smell of drying cannabis.
I'm kinda with stoned monkey in this one... high temps and bright lights are both terrible for drying buds.. If the tent is the only option for drying I'd probably compromise and harvest the whole tent at let's say day 66 or 67.

You tape the seams on the box and I bet theres no reasonable differance in smell between that and the tent

How do you exchange the air with the box sealed up? You can just trap the same stale air in the box for the entire time. If there is air exchange with no carbon filter in the mix it will definitely stink.

I didn't see where he had a carbon filter but you would do it the same way you crack jars during the rest of the curing stage and light a candle when you do it I guess but if tent is the only option I vote letting the one go a little longer than cutting the other two short 10 to 15 days early great looking buds btw congrats bluemt

Nice!

Ive gone to a 5ft wide 2ft deep 6 foot tall wire shelf rack wrapped in panda.

Works great. Would probably fit your harvest in it
Its surprising how much you can fit in them .

But i think im going to build a bigger charcoal filterd dry box.

Last run stunk up the place more then usual haha

How was the smell and air exchange process like coldsmoke
Just like what you said just crackem open for air and tape em shut for smell.

It works well its an old growers trick like drying in a paper bag.

The box itself helps disipate moisture and contain the terpines nicley.(uncoated box)

Boxes worked for many years for me .

Then the harvest got too big :)

But i need to get a new drying setup ready soon as im in week 2 :)

Thanks everyone. I don’t want to cut late for one and early for others. I like my terpines just right, lol! I’ll use a box in the tent. There is a carbon filter in there. Here’s a better shot of my babies.
Nice looking plants!

Beauties! I dont blame you not wanting to cut early! What is the darker One? Also to control humidity look into safe dehumidifier they basically a a giant silica packet that can plug in to re charge. Should help control the humidity In the box in a tent.
