Wierd auto behaviour

Hey guys...

So I decided to play with the idea of starting autos in 3gallon pots from seed. All under my 400w MH aircooled hood from start. All in coco perlite mix. Just the same as always...except for the pot size. My beans sprouted beautifully....67% RH....27.5 celcius. End of week one they suddenly stopped and got week. So theres 8 days of my autos life gone! But as the soil dried over thenext3weeks they stayed tiny....and the 1st set of true leaves was tiny. When tbey turned 20days old....I was going to give up. Then I decided that while theyre in the ground and going....lemme feed em good doses and seewhat happens. By now an Auto should be in full preflower! But okay. A day later theyseemed to take off. Here a pic below.....thats 34 days in. Seeing the normal 2 pistils as she shows her sex....no preflower yet. My question is......what the fuck? How? Why? Is the plant then still going to do her thing ontime? I mean really....How?

With auto's you never know lol. They usually, in my experience, grow completely messed up. i have 3 that are in week 8 and barely flowering, super slow and small buds, though plants are huge..will be putting them in for 12/12 starting tonight to see if they do anything..if not, they go in the trash next weekend lol. I've been trying for 2 years to grow them, and all i've seen is that they are very weak in terms of potency, even some do produce 3-4 oz's, the end product sucks. Growth is hard to predict, feedings hard to figure out! Hope you have better luck! Your leaves also seem to be quite wet on top. Hopefully that's not humidity!

Hey man...

Yeah they are wierd plants sometimes. But my 4 grows before this gave me some DANK smoke.....and huge buds. Loved them. And no that aint the humidity at all....just did a foliar spray with some Kelpak...

my only decent auto was a lemon something..unknown breeder didn't specify lol..an easy bud from royal queen was frosty and dense as well..the rest just didn't work..got some huge buds as well from a blue mammoth, but is it ever weak! lol Im sure there are better ones out there..i just haven't had success with them..king tut, masszar, cash crop were all supposed to be 'stronger' and compared to what im used to, it's not really worth the smoke as the high is minimal at best. I actually only grow them as it's too hard to give the plants 12-12 most all year, but i'll have to find a solution to that lol.
As for foliar spraying..you want to spray the underside of the leaves as that's where the plant will absorb it..the top is just for light, wetting them like that on top can cause the light to burn them as the drops will magnify the light.
