Somewhere in Africa ...

Hi guys, just sharing my outdoor grow on some land races and hybrids .
The plants are aged 2-4 months.
Pure organic crops .
Nutrients include , manure, molasses, volcanic ash/rock dust ,liquidized bat guano.
Still at 13-11 light/darkness as of posting this .
Furthest along plant is 2 weeks into flowering stage.
Strains Include mostly 2 land-races that occur here , two Indica dominants , an imported Spanish hybrid.
Plants started in 10 liter buckets then base was cut and put into earth.

All remaining plants are female 11 in total.
About 3 are currently in flowering , it`s still another month till a 12-12 photo period occurs here though.

Tell me what you think so far and give me some suggestions :)
Happy growing and smoking. :)

Sup bruh, I started my first patch mid October this year and then second patch and other plants late December. Just actually three flowering ATM, one started a few days ago . Sometimes you get lucky and one of the land races will flower really fast, I`ve found this happens usually when you prune it only once while it is still small and not again. Also just down to luck. Yeh was looking for your grow earlier and zoned out . You`re right about harvest times on your other thread we looking at mid may or so :). I`m gonna check yours out now now just my internet is trash today. :) Last ones for me will the haze that I`m vegging under led.

Aweh. Looking good man...nice frosting in most. The 3rd and 5th pics. Wat strain are those?

I ask because they very similar to both the locals I am growing at the moment. Of course yours are much further and better. The 3rd pic especially is very similar to a planting have now. Here it is:

The local one big ones are Swazi , the smaller sativas are Transkei , then got one huge cheese , one imported strain we been growing for years and some other indica dominant . Will have to wait till most the sativas flower to tell the difference really because they look so similar. Yours look great , I hope they start flowering soon .

. . . . . . . 20 days until 12 12 photoperiod .
Looking good.

Another way of saying that is start of Fall, or Fall Equinox. The days will keep getting shorter for you all the way till the start of winter. 12/12 is an indoor thing. Outdoors the change is gradual. If you keep a grow notebook, you can jot down the start times of each strain and check the length of day for that day. Then you will have a good idea in the future when it's going to flower.

I've actually never smoked or seen Durban poison . Would be cool to give it a run oneday before it gets even more rare due to cross pollination and such . Yeh it's getting near autumn . Getting darker earlier and all plants are looking like they are exiting Pre flower ,except for 3 . Was busy tieing them down coz they too tall and found an about 2 metre male . Also another pic of progress on my friends unknown pink strain .

It is getting dark isn't it. If u haven't samples DP u must be far away from Natal. That's where it is found. Good luck trying to find local pure dp. It comes around once in awhile now a days because most PPL want "skunk" or indica types. Also the dp I have seen needs a long time to get fat and u dont think many PPL can wait that long

I,ve been there but just took acid and smoked ridiculously good outdoor . I'm in the southern tip of country . I prefer indicas , but sativas just give such a massive yield . Last year I just grew one sativa for fun and landed up with a mini mountain of bud . This year is Gunna be intense and trimming is going to take hours in the early winter . Any strain is fun too grow though and they all have unique phenotypes , it definately is one of the most fun things to do .

Damn i really have to try this organic method you use. It looks really good
Google turbo grow their main office is in Jozi , it's basically rock dust . Very good organic fertilizer . Thanks man . We'll see soon enough. But haven't used Chems I'm ages since I went out on a farm and made my own fertilizers growing like maybe 200 plants to myself.
