You're forgetting erection Angles Roger.the sun does not go low enough to cast a shadow that long
Right..I may just try some smaller plants this yr but I honestly really like this area..the only thing is I'm going to have to do a shit ton of work getting what I need to it...so I don't want to do that kinda work for a spot that isn't gonna be all too great..I think I'll just toss a few in small pots and check the spot as the season starts and if need by I can carry them in and back out ..I get so damn paranoid carrying a plant through the woods though...a lot of hunting where I'm from..you never know when you're gonna walk past a game camera.. although I ALWAYS cover my head and tattoos ..wear the same clothes and keep them outside the house.. even wear an old pair if shoes I keep hid in case they find a track to match...ppl make fun of me but i know a few ppl that got busted on camera..not to mention a game warwen or cops will set them up just to get u on camera ..but I don't worry bout thatif it looks like a good spot to you, try it out, the worst that can happen is you get sub par yield from a couple of plants, and know thats not a good spot next year
Hah ..the ever so painful ball burnYes, bottom of the sausage and both beans got severe sun burn. The shadow of my penis just walked across my body right to left throughout the day.
i'm sure it's a"cute" angleYou're forgetting erection Angles Roger.
I grow in swamps an bogs,i always plant on north side with tree line behind me that way u got good cover on one side full sun on the other side don't plant in bunchs, I have flown over my plots pretty low if I didn't no they were there never woulda seen them, very hard to look straight down with a fixed wing gotta do circlesYup.. I like I said I always run into some issue..leaves don't end up as thick or thin in places..dead branches..just always something it seems..I kept track of the sun in my last grow and got a good handle on how it rises and arches across the sky..I lucked out because the sun literally went right across the tree line when going east to west...it early spring and fall it did go behind the hill and trees a lil more than I wanted but still a gooood spot
It's always helicopter s here ..I kinda thought that was what they used everywhere...I'm sure they use planes too but mostly helicopters I'd say.. national guard heli is what they used on me... but I totally agree about planting like u say..it's just hard for me atm to find a spot like that..I lost my DL and sold my four wheeler.. stupid...and taking the amount of supplies needed is hard af around here.. literally mountains everywhere..and that's not the biggest deal for me..it's ppl seeing you ..it doesn't matter if you are walking/riding by the ppl around here are gonna see what's up..really rural and ppl keep up w there land here like someone is gonna steal it..I don't blame them honestly...my best friend is gonna let me borrow his wheeler to take my stuff into the woods though so that's a plus...lol I'm gonna have to get double sneaky going into this spot though..the only way into it now literally has 5 cameras.. security cameras..in the middle of nowhere..and I know they work from experience ... The land borders national Forest and a hunting lease...I know everyone on the lease and hate everyone of them...they tried to keep me off of it cause it has an awesome native trout steam going through it that I fished since I was a boy...but they won't ever keep me off it.. they figured that out...I ginseng up there too and always have a big back pack on ..so I can prob get by with carrying shit ln and out w.o too much hassleI grow in swamps an bogs,i always plant on north side with tree line behind me that way u got good cover on one side full sun on the other side don't plant in bunchs, I have flown over my plots pretty low if I didn't no they were there never woulda seen them, very hard to look straight down with a fixed wing gotta do circles
ya iam to fuckin old for that shit, iam in the boonies miles an miles of dirt logging rds,i can drive 100 miles an never touch tar not shitting yabe careful, man
Yea I ALWAYS have a compass w me..or an app w one..and that sucks man..I hate to hear that..it's hard moving shop to a new location a lot of the time..I usually always spend a lot of time in the areas I grow in to know where ppl are traveling through... hunting wise and other...I don't mean I am in there every week or anything but I like to get a feel of what is going on in that area...but I always like t stick a game camera or 2 around just in case I miss someone passing by.Yes, be careful. I lost 40 acres of my growing land last year, and it looks like another cousin is going to sell her 40. The new owners only camp once in a while, but they have game cameras up, and I haven't chanced it.
I forgot to say that you should bring a compass when digging holes. If it's a cloudy day, you have a hard time finding south. Like Thumper, I always plant on the south side of a tree or big bush.
That's what I'm talking about! I love it..I can't quite do that..well I can if I go directly behind my home but it is literally almost impossible to be packing shit in that way...i would have to live in the woods ( which I have done and have been thinking about doing again) to be able to keep up with everything ...and I wasn't full blown Mick Dodgein it lol..but I spent all spring, summer, and part of fall in the woods when I was 18...I came out a few times a month to check on things but I really loved it..ya iam to fuckin old for that shit, iam in the boonies miles an miles of dirt logging rds,i can drive 100 miles an never touch tar not shitting ya
Most of my patches are a couple three miles from the house. Some of the land I grow on, I'm also hiking and camping on, so I'm there all the time. I just stay away from the patches when I'm not tending them. My cousin said I could camp, hike or anything on her land. I'm doing all of the above.Yea I ALWAYS have a compass w me..or an app w one..and that sucks man..I hate to hear that..it's hard moving shop to a new location a lot of the time..I usually always spend a lot of time in the areas I grow in to know where ppl are traveling through... hunting wise and other...I don't mean I am in there every week or anything but I like to get a feel of what is going on in that area...but I always like t stick a game camera or 2 around just in case I miss someone passing by.
i got a periscope a long time agoYou know this technique ....I can tell
find a solar panel website for help. you type in your zip and they give you the sun's postion
I'd add to your excellent post by saying, identify and consider the type of vegetation / trees in your prospective grow area. If the edge of your area has sapling growth that's 8' tall THIS fall, by next year it might be 12' tall and block lite.Time travel works for me. Kind of.....
If you were to go out tomorrow and see the angle of the sun, then count the number of days past December 22, {February 24 would be 64 days past the Winter Solstice} this will tell you where the sun will be the same number of days before December 22. So the sun will be the same place in the sky tomorrow as on October 19th.
But getting out there several times through the year is best.
what bread crumbs? he's looking at a site that tells you when the sun comes up and goes down....you don't have to enter the long. and lat. of your patch....Then when the pigs confiscate your computer they follow the electronic bread crumbs you've laid down and you get sent to the Gingerbread witch house with bars on the windows Hansel, and you end up in the wrong BROS GRIMM story!

That's a reasonable opinion, but I should mention I was mostly goofing around with the bread crumb bit.what bread crumbs? he's looking at a site that tells you when the sun comes up and goes down....you don't have to enter the long. and lat. of your patch....
you seem like a fairly intelligent individual, but sometimes you let the paranoia get a little out of hand.
this is far from the most populous weed website out there, and there are so many people on this site i can't keep up with all of them, see new "well known members" all the time. this means to me that there are a shit ton of people growing...way too many for the cops to be able to catch more than a small percentage of them. and while there are many places its still not legal (here, unfortunately) a lot of places have put a low priority on it. they don't want to catch you, you take up space meth heads and heroin junkies could be taking up.
i'm not saying act like you're growing cabbage and don't take reasonable precautions, but i don't think there's a lot of reason to live in fear, as long as you take those precautions
