if they implement this, i hope more than 1/2 of teachers resign immediately.

i am sick and god damned tired of these ignorant motherfuckers we call republicans....
I hope they do as well there needs to be a great purge of the liberal and political nonsense going on in our schools. Someone said something about getting kids better books maybe they should take all the money they spent researching what bathrooms children should use and modifying them and use that towards better books. Because I have no problem with them spending a shit ton of money on security. I go to lots of family friendly places for example baseball games hockey games Local city offices and they all have armed security. But I guess those are all more important than our childrens schools..

If you think about it that's actually kind of scary seeming that teachers should be more highly educated...........
Teachers may make great armed guards for all I know.
My knee jerk reaction was based on the asshole teachers I grew up with.

Well educated assholes. Lol
Now with guns.

No thanks.

If there are going to be guns at school
I prefer they hire very well screened ex military.

Make them teachers even better

My daughter's in high school and at her last lock-down drill, the instructor said he would use a baseball bat to try and stop a shooter from entering the room (that none of them could escape from). I empathize with teacher's that would like a little better defense than a baseball bat.
On average, guns don't make people safer. Pretty easy to look at gun safety statistics to be able to predict that more people will be hurt from gun accidents than protected by an armed teacher during a mass shooting event. Your empathy is laudable but arming teachers is an emotional rather than rational response.

But hey, the NRA wins. More guns sold.

So think of this from the standpoint you're a psychopath ready to bust into a school and start busting rounds at people. You have two choices.

West Snowflakeville where it's a gun-free zone. Or, East Carryville where you know there's armed teachers.

Which one are you going to choose as your destination?
You said you were for gun control and regulations. What exactly do you mean by that?

Didn't say anything about mentally ill. I'm well aware health care is the problem here. And I'm not a republican bud.

Stop blaming guns for underlying problems.
Oh, hi.

I asked before but I guess you just forgot to reply. I see you are so busy defending the gun lobby. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked what gun control regulations and measures do you support. You had said earlier that we were in agreement that gun control and regulations should be stepped up. Yet you keep defending the gun lobby and talking as though gun control laws don't work even though I can show you several (all, actuall) 1st world countries where they do work. Except maybe Russia. So, what gun control laws and measures do you think we should put in place? The goal I would think is to reduce gun homicides, accidents to that of Canada or Australia. So, what would your suggestions be?

Oh, hi.

All you do is bitch regardless of what I say. If they ban bump stocks, will it get you to stop bitching for a day? Even though Trump can't legally just ban them. Tahaha.

Is gonna re classify them into the machine gun category circumventing Congress.

Good for him, he can't do that, via the ATF's regulations.

I don't really care if he bans them, doesn't bother me. I think they're stupid. Just saying, he's trying to pull a move he can't pull.

Which books specifically need to be made better or are you just talking out your a** like usual?
It's a reference to the quality of Florida's quality of education. It sucks. Unless you think a C- is good.

Florida is sinking in school ratings but has the dough to help Trump deflect the country from actually addressing the gun violence problem in this country.

Again, by gun violence, I mean criminal and accidental injury and death from guns. I'm not concerned about gun owners using the gun on themselves in suicide.

Just asking, what measures you would recommend to reduce death from gun in homicides. If you can't wrap your angry little mind around that, perhaps you can tell me what you meant when you said you and I agree about the need for gun control laws.

How to reduce death from homicides:

Go into cities like Chicago, Cleveland, LA, etc. and spend money on communities that are falling behind. Education, jobs, etc.

That's where a majority of your homicides are coming from.
