upper canada seedbank legit?

OKAY!! For ANYONE wondering if they will get their seeds. YES you will...I waited around 5 weeks.I did get a bit angry and worried after receiving no response from their e-mail....After reading thru the entire FAQ's section I noticed they said to address the subject of your e-mail as "URGENT". So I did so and received a response!! My package came after around 5 weeks. And they look wonderful. Going to germinate them immediately. Thank you "Upper Canada Seed Bank".

What did you order? Were they in Original Breeders packs?

I got a pack of Afghani Kush from upper Canada seed bank. Took forever to get here. Thought I got robbed... They did come in original breeders pack though and while I haven't popped em, they look good. Fat, healthy, dark, tiger striped.

If you live in Canada they may be a decent option but I just go with SOS now.. I never wait more than 6 days from the day I mail my payment.

Not sure what is all the hate about crop king. I ordered 10 fem seeds white widow from them and got them within 2 weeks. Very well packaged. They gave a pin and they have some good marketing material which makes me think that they have budget and know what they are doing. Althought all my plants dont look exactly the same ive got a germinating rate of 100% out of 6 seeds so far (actually got a twin seeds a well so im currently with 7 plants) you can look at my grow journal.. im only at day 34 from seeds but they are looking very good so far. Anyway thats my experience so far im in eastern canada and so far nothing bad to say about them
 
I placed my order over 2 months ago. Sent multiple emails with URGENT in the subject line like they ask you to do if you have not received your order... no reply. The website contact form doesn't work for me asking for javascript and cookies to be enabled while they already are. My order number was in the thousands so I wonder just how many people have not received their goods.?? Does anyone know if making a complaint at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) does any good? Does anyone know a phone number or any form of contact other than the email address ___ sales at uppercanadaseedbank dot ca ____ or support at uppercanadaseedbank dot ca ____ ?

The only form of payment they accept is an email transfer. When customers trust a vendor like this they really shouldn't leave you hanging.

That makes me glad that I kept to SOS after my first order. Anyway you can get in touch with you bank or credit card company and get them involved in getting your money back?

They've been very helpful with me. Even sent another FREE pack because my Afghan Kush I ordered didn't sprout. And they did come in the original packing. took about 3 weeks to get my second order. And they always respond to me if I put URGENT in the subject. Did you check your spam folder? Just a thought. Hope you get some seeds soon!!! Cheer's from East Coast Canada.
 
Update, The very next day May 7, 2018 after posting my review with survey in a new thread here I received this email:

"Don't have any of the Ace seeds in stock, but I can send you a 10pack of the strawberry cough?
Or I can refund, let me know what works best"

So I respond on May 8, 2018 and immediately get an auto response:

"We are out of office until May 16th. All emails will be answered after that time."

I passed ordering from upper. Found it fishy.
GTA seeds in Toronto are good. I have ordered from them multiple times over the years.
All seeds are in breeder packs.

Montreal seeds I have ordered from them. There fast and good to buy from to.

Hemp Depot I have ordered seeds from there to. They are fast and good to buy from to.

So in a nut shell those are the only Canadian seed banks id buy from.

Dude I am in virtually the same situation. made my order april 2nd, accepted my money the day or so after, then nothing for a couple weeks.
Emailed them on the 19th to see if it had been sent, they responded that they were out of office for 4/20 weekend but they would respond when they got back, they never did.
emailed again, and they responded and asked if i gave them the correct address. (pretty sure i know my address)
three more emails until another "we are out of the office message". then ANOTHER message asking if i gave the correct address.

I too was wondering about the BBB. since cannabis is still technically illegal i'm not sure what could happen. but it will be legal soon and I imagine they're going to get many complaints.

company run by imbeciles and/or con-artists.
 
Update May 26, 2018

Well imagine my surprise to see my seeds in the mailbox a couple of days ago on the 23rd... 3 months after ordering. Today shows first signs of sprouts and yes, there were a few freebies. My impression is that this business is a one man show probably not intentionally ripping people off but rather dropping the ball and following the "squeaky wheel gets the grease" business model for damage control.

having the same issues as every one else, except now their biz and refunds email addresses are bouncing. complete joke. id stay away.

I don't know how Upper Canada stays in business, you have to communicate with customers, and UPSB has no idea how to treat customers. When the competition "Toronto Cannibis Seeds"
delivers within 48 hours, I'm 3 weeks waiting for UCSB, do the wise thing and order from someone who runs a business not a part time hobby.

This Clown won't respond to "please refund my $$" requests, when his site claims you can get your $$ back. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM! I'm out $100!

This site is a scam. I sent an e-transfer on June 25th (which they excepted). A month later after sending a couple emails, they finally replied and apologized for the delay and said they were sending my order. It's now September 1st and still nothing. I've asked for a refund - no response.
