Thats what I heard too yesterday, my pal had location services off done an update and a few places he had visited recently suddenly the location was visible. I wouldn’t know where to start regarding an exif editor just the name of it confuses me lol
I simply don’t care about location services lol

Careful there. Sometimes accepting app updates will change settings. I'm too senile to leave gps services off; I would never get anywhere or find my way home. ;)

Just use an exif editor as a discipline and it doesn't matter what your phone does. It's better to assume the data is there and remove it than to accidentally turn it back on and not know.
Just change setting s to not allow that. Manual on and off only. It makes the app ask for you to turn it on, tells you it can't work with out it.

If you leave that fucker on. They can track every move you make.

I don’t trust them phones. Me and my pals were suspicious of a local guy who kept talking to young girls round our area, we got someone who knew what they were doing to track his phone! We was watching where he went what messages he was receiving and sending and we had proof he was hanging around late at night near one girls house

I’m sceptical about this to be honest

i dont trust this either, it can’t be that easy
yes it can be that easy. look up the instructions for your phone/camera and turn it off. there are also many apps on the google store to do the same thing. look at any pic on the website and find the xif data....you can't, because the site strips it to begin with.
