When in doubt, check trichromes and (imo) always lean toward a longer more complete flowering time.

It's not possible for someone else to estimate your week because of the amount of fluctuation between grows and cultivators, nutrients and mediums etc.

I have mistakenly chopped plenty of premature plants. Smoke was always decent but yield suffered greatly and so did scent. To be safe, I would let them go while monitoring calyx development and trichromes.

The flowers are looking great! :leaf:

All good advice so far. I don't even worry about what week of flower I'm in because I strictly judge harvest time by the readiness of the plants. If you grow the same strain many times and your environment is dialed in and stable you will start to be able to predict finish time fairly accurately, but for the most part just learn to identify a plant that is finished.

hey guys, so it's been 5 days, this is how the girls are doing, i went ahead and installed a 600 Watt HPS as well
Also, I will be having a visit by a argonomy company thats trying to kill fruit maggots in my department (Not going just to my place , the whole department), so im thinking it's smart to harvest this one today.. Do you guys think it's a good idea?
The other plants no worries.. i only have to keep a certain amount of plants , (countries law) so i gotta reduce how many plants i have or i'll get a biggass fine

feels potent , after i harvested i gave it a go and slept 4 hours.. the harvest was 60g but thats because I transplanted in flowering hoping to get more yield out of it, was trying to do 3 transplants on it to grow nice , wont make that same mistake again lol.
Overall it's giggity goo , it's still dense , when i grinded some got alot of resin out of it

nice flowers. JH has always been one of my favorite strains, i found a seed once in a bag of JH i had bought and planted the seed very early in the season and ended up growing to 6 feet tall over 4-5 months (outdoor greenhouse) before it even started flowering lol. i never got a chance to finish it though because we broke up and shes a cop caller.

your flowers look extremely similar to the JH buds i found the seed in!

@badmojo420 sorry to hear that lad.
Hey guys I'm on week 8 with my JH strains. One pheno is better I believe because the stem is thick like a tree trunk and has more large colas. Anyways I and plan on repeating week 8's nutrient cycle for a few extra weeks to give that longer flowering period Jack Herer is known for. This is my first successfully grow and it turns out indoors is way easier than outdoors to control the environment to help plants survive. My question is during the curing process, do the white hairs continue to amber up? Because I plan on doing a very long cure that way it gains more potency, I have read during the curing process that THC climbs up even higher and not to rush the process or your smoke will lack jack. I am worried that they will turn into the slightly less THC more CBN pods that I would not prefer even if I Harvest and start curing at 70%. Will curing increase the ambers and CBN and lower my THC if I Harvest at that peak time? This makes me think I should harvest earlier and cure my way to that sweet spot of 70% white hairs or lower. If any Masters would give some insight I would HIGHLY appreciate it... The growing method is DWC hydro not that it matters.

Also another question, should I ripen under Red light for the last 2 weeks, ripen and flush week? Or earlier starting from late bloom weeks?
