BLUE DREAM indica dominant phenotype

I know your running HSO Blue Dream and you will get many phenotype variations as this is the nature of the seed. And we all know real BD is a clone only with very sativa like leaves and structure..originating from Santa Cruz. That being said....these photos are so light years away from anything even resembling real Blue Dream...its no wonder why people/growers respond like they do when seed companys sell knockoffs of the same name. What you have should most definitely be called something else. There is nothing indica in looks about real Santa Cruz Blue Dream
...at all. No offence. Btw...nice frikin plants man. Whatever it is..looks good.
I ran sin city's buddha's dream and used it to breed and I can tell you they definitely used the real deal BD clone. Most of my cross's leaves are very similar to BD's thin sativa looking leaves and on of the buddha's dream had the blue dream flavor. I can tell you the real BD has given the trait of large yields in my cross.

I ran a few HSO blue dreams last year and 2 were only so so and 1 was strong potency wise, very sativa style high.

As mentioned before, nothing like the clone Blue dream, and I doubt they even s1 the real blue dream, but the one was potent and had a very slight hazey fruity flavor but mostly a hashy taste.

It's a great strain for beginners but if you're a seasoned grower you'll probably have no desire to clone again. Cheers and you'll have some good smoke.

Ive ran Sin Citys White Nightmare and it was to me slightly better than real deal Santa Cruz Blue Dream. Less sativaish looking leaves but still thin. Slightly more potent. More indica. And the same monster yields. SC Blue Dream (the clone only) is very very sativa in looks. Almost like a pure haze or thai. Very sweet and fruity. Light green..no dark green indica leaves unless you feed alot more nitrogen. And the indica Blueberry side only comes through with a slight sweet muffin smell and the chunky blueish tint buds. Id say (and this is a guess from running her for quite a few rounds now) shes at least 80% sativa.

Can you all imagine if there was an ass kicker og kush varietal that yielded like Blue Dream? Ive been looking fer awhile now. There are some bigger yielding og types but it seems you lose something. That banging - ness that makes an og what it is.

You are doing really good for your second run.
Just keep on learning. Try and find some more of these grow logs , look for growers who are better and more experienced and learn more.
There is a wealth of knowledge to be had, it just takes study. Lots of it.

Yeah. Those look real nice man. Healthy. Fat as well. Make sure you take 2 or 3 cuts off each and root them in a seperate area. Although it can take longer..many cuttings will root in a cup of clean water on a long day sunny window sill. As long as you change the water every few days. Or you can get a little propagation seed & cloning kit from a hydroponic shop to speed up the cutting root process. Label them to the plant they were taken from to keep track. That way you wont lose it if you decide you really like a certain plant. Clones are alot faster and cheaper than running a bunch of seed packs trying to find a plant that you liked before. I run a pretty large setup for a basement and anything new that comes through the house...I always make backup copies just in case it turns out to be a keeper and I want to run it again.

Take cuttings b4 the stretch? Or wait for the stretch and take em off the top?
I would take cuts before you flip to 12-12 or very quickly after. Taking cuts any deeper into flower...they can take forever to root..and grow all funky for a minute. Confused. Taking a branch that is starting to like 12- 12 short day photo periods and putting it back in a long day 18 - 6 confuses the branch that your trying to grow roots and veg. It settles itself out eventually but if your new to this..your opeining yourself up to problems. Best take them before the flip to flower so it roots and veg grows without any hiccups.

Not a bad leaf nor purple stem/petiole on em. Healthy as fuk. Nice plants. I run the Santa Cruz BD and a knock off as well. I think its HSO. My cousin gave it to me a few years ago. Said it was Blue Dream bit he wasnt sure. And then I got the real deal Santa Cruz and the knockoff definitely has BD in it..but something else. Alot more indica. But its fire and nice tight buds. Doesnt taste nor smell like the super sweet Santa Cruz. But hell...I and my patients love em both. So I run them both. My knockoff looks alot like yourn and its kick ass. Oh btw..I would definitely take 2 or 3 cuts off all them healthy gals. No doubt about it.

Hook up an exhaust fan to a simple combo humidsitat/themostat or run it 24/7 onna speed controller turned down a bit. Put multiple digital thermometers/hygrometers (ones that are min/max) in mutliple locations throughout the grow room. At canopy..below...up above. About 3 or 4 will do. So you can montior what your numbers are. Get a green LED head lamp so you can check numbers at lights off. Jot it all down on paper if you have to. Get nerdy with it. Its fun if its a small garden and your new to this.

I ran the blue dream last grow. 4 different phenos for sure. However the indica doms were heavy producers! I pulled 6 pounds from 1 plant buy averaged 4 1/2. The sativa doms were much more potent ...and the indicas were a Lil above mids.
Looks like you are doing a great job!

I think my Dream knock off is HSO. Way more Indy than my Santa Cruz cut. But its a keeper as well. Yields more dense buds if you can believe that. Both of em are just pigs in the yield dept though. The sweet candy smell the real SCBD has is less though. But its hits harder..faster. Less of that soaring creeper Santa Cruz sativa high. More of a stone. And its less stretchy.
