Day 6 seedlings

When the temp hits 68 I put five in at a time. Temp drops to about 60 in a couple of hours sometimes it hits 58f without issues. Then it takes about 10 to 12 hours to rise back up to 68. Sometimes it can be a pain in the arse but well worth it in the end.
way easier than what i deal with, i have to put in two bottles to cool it to like 65-68, and then LEAVE a bottle in the res. and it kinda messes with the air stones bubbles. i do that every 2 hours or so..

I'm running 6 to 8 buckets sometimes so I purchased a chest freezer for the ice bottles.. lol

Sorry Driz...don't mean to hijack your thread.
Na man. I’m running an attic grow, if there was a way I can hook up something like this for coco that would be awsome.

I’m excited for summer to get here because that means harvest, but I’m scared I’m not gonna be able to handle the heat and have to wait till fall to kick it off again. I’m not sure I can sneak in a mini split. Needs to be on the DL.

They all took that feeding well. That first pic is the lowest set of leaves on my pineapple haze. Not sure what’s going on. Other than that leaf tho she looks gorgeous. I have no complaints or worries about them at this point. Will be pinching the 5th node tomorrow morning.
Anyone running coco have aproximate timeframe they started having to feed more. I feel like they should be drinking more water. Thanks guys. Have a good weekend

Ph 5.6. 1mL of cal/mag and grow big. Just topped so I’ll boost ph and nutes next water. Didn’t feed till run off. Maybe a pint each

5th node...I'd start feeding more also bring your ph up to 6.0

No doubt. I have been running 6.7 out of the tap and I added downer for what usually gets me to 6 and it ended up being 5.6. But I’ll bump it up for next water. Coco was half as heavy from last water and top layer was dry on two of them.

Is this normal to start losing bottom leaves? Seems early

DAY 27-
Ok mixed up 4 gallons of ph water and 6mL cal/mag and grow big. Ph out of the tap is 6.0 so I tried that and runoff wouldn’t get above 5.5 testing with meter and drops. Adjusted ph until runoff was 6.0. Used almost 2.5 gals. Waited a minute and tested runoff that had accumlated after I put everything away and I had anywhere from 6.2-6.5. My meter is flaky and that’s why I ll use drops to double check myself, but testing runoff with drops is hard due to coco Tinting the water (any suggestions?). Ppm did read around 540 in and out by the time I was all buttoned up. Hope they pull through. I’m not worried tho. As it’s my first grow and I want to learn to scrog and manifold so I’m gonna learn with these fems.
That being said I’ve got 20 white widow Auto coming and I’m gonna try and blast them with some knowledge I’ve gained and see if they’ll turn out before summer gets here.
All in all I’m not complaining. I’m light years ahead of when I did this half indoor half outdoor grow last year. Just trying to dial it in and pull down enough plant to clone these fems and get them ready to go outside for my guerilla grow.
This is basically my 2 part time job and I’m working 36 hours a week sometimes more for my full time job. This is such a rush tho it makes it worth it. I think I’m addicted to work. And I know I’m getting addicted to growing

no it isnt normal thats due to your ph being off.
Here is a journal of my last coco grow including a break down of the nutes used on page 2. It is a full step by step.

And thanks for the journal link, that helped a lot. I was definetly not aggressive enough to top as early as you did, that’s awsome. That line of nutes sounds bad ass as well. I need to start looking into different ones instead of just using grow big and cal/mag. And I’ll tske into account what you said you’d do differently with that grows nute progression. I’m actually thinking about doing super soil next fall. Then maybe I won’t get worried when I miss a day. Coco is forgiving but damn I’m busy.
And again I appreciate the help. You guys are awsome. Peace

I have these 1 gal plastic pots. Should I put more holes in them to allow for more air to get to roots. Seems like they won’t really ever dry fast enough to water daily. I have 5 gal bags I’ll be transplanting to before long. Just curious for future reference

More holes wont hurt but coco holds 20% air even when fully saterated. Watering every day exchanges the old used air for fresh. If your concerned then when you up pot use smart pots
