I have been thinking of an idea for a few weeks for my next grow.
My goal is to spread some roots and get the web going.
Then after vegging for about 2 or 3 weeks I'm going to cut them at the base, cut out a hole and add a new seedling.
Sort of a no till situation where a small amount of roots have been spread through the pot and have given the web a chance to develop for the new seedling that is about to go into the pot.
I'm going to try it on a few pots next grow just to see what happens. It may just be an added 3 or 4 weeks of time with no real benefits but I want to see what happens.
I'm doing it to create the early stages of the web.
I'll probably do a few pots of my own soil mix and try it with those also.
Can it be beneficial or detrimental?
Any thoughts or comments are welcome.

Fox Farm Ocean Forest is a "dirty" word I know but for what I am going to try it will work.
ffof is a hot soil. When I use it and do a short veg on a plant I feel there is still to much nitrogen in the soil when I flip to flower.
I am going to start seedlings in starter pots then move them to 3 and 5 gallon plastic pots of ffof with 10-20% added perlite and veg them for 2 or 3 weeks.ffof is a hot soil. When I use it and do a short veg on a plant I feel there is still to much nitrogen in the soil when I flip to flower.
