Megacrop dry nutes in dwc

So I'm running pretty low on my gh 3 part and want to swap nutrients. I run a 40 gallon rdwc and got sample of mega crop. What I'm wondering is if anyone is currently running it in a recirculating hydro setup. I've heard a bit about some mild ph stability issues and the kelp or some other organic not staying in solution but nothing with any real explanations. I'm also hoping to stop using ro. The wife is getting a little extra green peacey this year and hates the waste water. I'm on a communal well with a ppm of about 125 and ph at 6.9 or 7. Has anyone run megacrop without ro water? Basically anyone who can chime in with experience would be great. I'd love to not go by 3 gallons of gh this week

I’ll be running it against veg + bloom and chemgros 4-20 blend to see what’s best. So far I love veg+bloom. I run everything with my well water it comes out at 200 ppm ph is 7. I’ve used my well water with no issues for a long time. Ph is super stable using my well water. Just be sure you have your ppm and ph pens ready and get to growing.

Right on! I've got some mango skunk finishing up in a few weeks so I'm really just prepping for the next run. Glad to hear you have luck with ph stability. I used to use a pretty mild city water that worked fine but about 4 years ago picked up a tiny little ro/di filter. Thing takes almost 14 hours to fill 45 gal lol. So you're not concerned about needing pk booster mid flower when they get really thirsty?

Nope Never really used a booster never seen a issue. They all contain more than enough. The only other things I use are mammoth p and something like great white or root ingniter.

Also ph is going to be way more stable in well water than ro. My ro is for making ice, drinking and cooking

Right. Usually by the time add my nutrients there's plenty buffer for stable ph. I very rarely have to adjust with gh flora. Usually only at low ppm like the 300 ppm seedling week. My only concern is the high level of I guess calcium or lime. It tends to solidify on the fridge where it drips from the water spout leading me to think it may be pretty high in calcium even though it's untreated well water. I guess I could ask the water manager to send me the required annual certification results

Edit: I can't stand the ro/di water for drinking. It has a weird mouth texture. Like it's almost slimy for lack of a better descriptor

Slimy ro water? I can say that’s not like mine. My ro unit came from culligan. I have severe hard water it was on the hard water scale a 20 the reason I had a softer installed. I simply ran my lines before the softer to get my well water for my rooms. I own my well too and I know exactly what’s in it for the most part. I send it in every few years to get tested again.

Right on. Yea I dunno if it's the deionizer or what but my filtered water comes out at 1 ppm and I chuck that 1 to crap in the bucket. It has a really weird taste or maybe it's the lack of taste. Hard to describe.

I've got a Mephisto Genetics Samsquanch OG at just under two months old in a 5 gallon DWC bucket using nothing but Mega Crop. I'm also only using filtered tap water. 5 micron Sediment and Carbon block filtered. I ran 20 grams per 5gallon bucket for the first two weeks then upped to the max dosing recommended of 30 grams per 5 gallon bucket.
