Where are you getting inexpensive DIY LED parts?

Im looking for 4 pin fin heatsinks, and a driver.
I'm obviously not looking to break the bank....kinda the whole point in DIY.
Looking to get some 120mm or 133mm heatsinks for CLU048's and a HLG185C-1400B driver.
Any recommendations on where to get these parts for cheap?
I'm already familiar with cobkits.

Have you looked around CDI's website?

I used CPU coolers off of ebay for clu048's. I get a pack of 10 for like $25 or something like that, they have 12 volt fans on them too so they're like an active heatsink. The COBs don't even get warm but they have to be glued to the cpu cooler because the mounting surface isn't big enough to tap & drill. I literally have 100's of these..
I got a case of those coolers as well. $29 for ten of them. The fans were not very robust, but its easy enough to slap a new fan on one if it dies. I was able to just put screws between the fins to hold them together.

Pin heatsinks run circles around fin sinks if you plan to do passive.
I already run active on another build and was trying to get away from any external 12V supply this time around. Still looking for a good deal on 120-133mm pin fins but think I may have found something.

If cobkits is too expensive just save up more money trying to piece stuff together from different places might save you 5%. Unless you want some cheap Chinese drivers you could save some upfront but meanwell is worth the extra money. I've bought the cheap drivers they aren't worth the minimal saving

Well, I got everything sorted, priced and ordered to make my light. I saved a considerable amount by shopping around.

HLG for the (4) 120mm pin fin heatsinks = $67.35 shipped
Amazon for the (1) MW Driver and (2) waterproof junction boxes = $61.86 free shipping
Lowes for (2) 1/8" x 1/2" x 8' Aluminum angle for frame = $11.66
Cobkits for the (4) Citi 1212's & BJB Holders = $52 shipped

Thats $192.87 total cost for this 2' x 2' 200W COB LED (passive cooled) dimmable veg light. Should be sufficient for a momma room under 4' x 4'.
I could have come in even less but I wanted waterproof junction boxes. :bigjoint:

100K pot, electrical cord, 18ga solid wire, arctic silver, screws, rivets, heatshrink tubing, hardware, etc are all parts that I already had on hand from previous builds.
I'll toss up a pic once I recieve everything and get it built.
Thanks for all the input & suggestions!!
